That's because it's the same assist and same goal just recorded from a different camera

I can't find more highlights. Wonder why is Bundesliga so poorly covered in youtube.
Probably because of copyright infringements, also why that video vs Hamburg is mirrored. :)

On 3:55 here you can see his assist vs Wolfsburg:

€0 + €11m + €25m = €36m

Maths wasn't my strong point either, but I think I got this.
We must have been charged something for Aquilani and he had high wages.

Pirlo>Aquilani. Pazienza may well be better than Sissoko was for us the past two season. Its a shame that Melo is going to leave us though. I hope Pirlo won't get bullied without him.

aprox values we paid/asked to pay 16-22, (some pounds/euro confusion there) 12-18, (when we bought Almiron+Tiago instead and his contract wasnt about to expire) 25
You can't count the hypothetical value of Sissoko six months before he was purchased and the money we never payed for Aquilani, and then completely disregard the value of Pazienza and especially Pirlo had they not been free transfers, as little as it may be.

Not the first time you count like this which means you are either lousy at maths or have a very obvious agenda. You decide which one is less embarassing.

In any case, you are right that at the moment the market value of Aquilani+Sissoko+Melo will be higher than the market value of Pirlo+Pazienza+Vidal.

I am worried how our midfield is formed. Pirlo comes from a long injury. At his age, with the injury and considering how off form he was in the last years, what will we do without him? Will we play 4-4-2 with Vidal and Marchisio and if we do, will that midfield be any better than what we had after Calciopoli? It will be much more mobile but we lack the most in creativity and I don't see us improving there.

its a bit too complicated to explain it, but i ll try.

We got Aquilani for free, but the guy is still rated, Pool bought him for 20mil and they still rate him as such (17-18mil at least)
Thats his actual market value, you cannot compare him with Pazienza, who has a transfer value of 3-5mil, taking for free dosnt mean he is worthy of 0euros though.Just nowhere near Aquilani's value. Hopefully this and my previous post explains what i meant.

The answer is simple. Aquilani is overpriced.

http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/vidal-vor-abschied-von-bayer-gespraeche-mit-juve/news/anzeigen_68002.html

I'm just going to translate the quotes from Wolfgang Holzhäuser, Leverkusen's CEO.

"We have held talks with Juventus."

Then there is part where he allegedly talks about other suitors for vidal and that those would be Chelsea, Inter and Milan. But there's no direct quote on that.

He then adds: "I don't want to give more names."

In the quote at the end he takes a dig at Heynckes, Leverkusen's old coach and currently employed by Bayern.

you seen his assists? i'm not sure if he can keep un on a 90 minutes hard match...that's what worries me. If he'll go down for 3,4 months, without vidal or some brains on the mid we're fucked

Your mind works in mysterious ways. I'd prefer to go with the actual level of the player rather than transfer value, if we are going to look at it this way. Pirlo for example would have a low value because of his age, but not many would pick the '€18m' rated Aquilani over him. Vidal and Melo could easily be of a similar price and technical level, as you are including the value of Vidal with 1 year left against Melo having signed a long term contract.

precisely, i was confident that you would understand me without a sweat.

And i m also concerned about the potential risks. We have changed far too much and too fast and not with very reliable solutions.
On theory Pirlo may offer as much Aquilani and more decisive passing, Pazienza might blend in better and have less temper issues than Sissoko and Vidal may offer similar workrate to Melo and more spark up front.

But it also go the other way, with Pirlo being unable to recover his physical form at this age and after such a long pause, Vidal being unable to adapt in such a big club and demanding championship and Pazienza being just Pazienza...

We didnt have to risk that much, changing half of the midfield would be more prudent (Pirlo+Pazienza for Aquilani+Sissoko)

That is true for most of our starting team and other prospects, Cronios. Krasic might not recapture his early season form, Rossi is no sure thing to perform, Bonucci may never click with Chiellini etc. IMO it will come down to Conte to bring the best out in those players. We will see.

I wasnt a member of these forums in our days in our "glory" days of 2004-2006, and I'd like to ask was Cronios always this way? He makes good points but he spoils it with his over-exaggerting and some outright lies.
