u always complain bout how bad our team is and how it needs to be drastically improved

but ur being a hypocrite when you say this

VIDAL IS 1000X BETTER THAN THAT FOOL MELO!!!!
I complain because we are wasting all our cash at buying cm and ss each and every game, while we ignore our lapses in other positions.
I m pretty consistent on that point since the day we got back to serie a.
Watch worse is that, no matter how well our ss/cm do, we are selling them off for peanuts and spend against the next transfer budgets to buy their replacement.
I m not at all convinced that this noone is better than Melo, I ve seen melo in nt and fiorentina before we got him.
We made a huge investment to get, we cant recover this money and reinvest them to some other player, because of our transfer director incompetence and disastrous weason.

Its extremely unwise to sell off one of our best player and reinvest this sum on his replacement, when we have so many wholes to cover in starter positions.
I would prefer us to keep melo and buy a 10mil lb, because I rate melo more than ziegler, or even better get the best lm we can.
Because I also consider a priority to replace martinez, rather than melo. Esp if we lose 10-15 mil of the money we have invested in the proccess...

in defence, the middle of the field is the most important part.

we havent had a serious central mid since zanetti, and we NEED to have good players there.

its good they want to fix that, but incompetence of secco led to us spending way to much for this position

and marotta, would do a better job at juventus then you, stop bashing him and be realistic about the fucking mess he had to clean up from secco, and the total lack of support he got from the board.

praise marotta and fuck secco and blanc

I agree that he has found a mess left behind from the water boy and the ones that nanipulating him and blanc.
But Marotta also had comitted sone tragic mistakes.
He did overpay for the mediocre italians he brought and made no decent profits from the sales of players like diego and giovinco.

I have yet to see smth worthy of praise.

I really dont believe that the transfer value of melo and vidal are equal. If marotta manages to sell melo close to the praise we got him and get vidal for less than 15 mil, thus making a 5-10 mil profit, then its praise worthy.

After watching him selling off Diego though and now get ready to buy Honda for the same sum, doesnt make me to feel confident to his abilities though...

I want to believe in him, but like scully, I need to see some facts first.
We still do have a tendency to throw away cash every year for more new nediocre players, rather than less and better ones.
We still try to fine tune our defensive issues, caused by incompetent defenders, by changing cms, instead of upgrading our material there.

These are faulty tactics, I called them as such since the first day we applied them, we fail every year because of them and I will keep pointing them out until we wake up and fix them, right we are doing with the rd issue.

Maybe overall, but not by much. People are starting to underrate Melo again during his antics this summer.
Not maybe but for sure. Vidal is much more complete, he scores way more and assists too. At the same time he's not worse in defense.

Kinda perfect box to box player. And I do rate Melo, unlike 90% of people here.

You're asking the impossible here, Cron. Even the best GDs will have problems doing what you want Marotta to do.

Selling Melo for the price close to what Secco paid is impossible. First because Melo was never a 25m eur player, not even a 20m eur player. Second because he was 26 back then and now he's 28. And third because in his two seasons with Juve whatever his realistic price was back in 2009, now is lower.
Vidal might be bought for less than 15m, but there is no way to make a 5m, even less a 10m profit here.

We always tend to disrespect what we already own and overvalue what we crave.
Let alone the worn out effect a player has in a team like Juve.
But how much difference there really is between them, how much difference will it makes?

Before we start fine tuning, why dont we fix the big wholes first?
We are overlooking them every year, because we waste too much time with details that consume our time and resources.

Vidal is great. I have seen him couple of times this season and as Dule mentioned he is almost complete. Neat passes, scores frequently and defensively is good. I don't know about the rest of the forum but I don't like Melo. His passing is a nightmare and he simply does not score. On top of everything he is not reliable. He has a bad attitude.

They aren't the same sort of players.

:rolleyes2

He was more reliable than everyone's butt-buddy Marchisio, and a better performer than 90% of the team last season. But OK, lets the hate player, that's cool.

:howler: what does that even mean?
