It's funny though, there's a lot of buzz about us signing a midfielder even though very little about Momo or Melo leaving to specific clubs, which I think is a bit odd. At least I can't see how deals will be in progess to sign if no buyer for them is in place, then we'd be under pressure to sell them soon.

Worse than Lass defensively but far better in other aspects. He is not the classic style of defensive midfielder. I would call him a box to box midfielder.
A Melo - Vidal - Pirlo centre would kick ass. In a 2 - man centre , Lass - Pirlo is more safe , even though i would love to see Vidal here.

4-3-3 with Pirlo , Melo , Vidal and Aguero - Matri - Krasic in the front row is pure sex.
