He gets the ball and turns towards our goal. Every single time. Multiple times yesterday Cuadrado (and later McKennie) would make forward runs only for Arthur to see the run and yet make a sideways pass. It's like he's more afraid of losing the ball than anything else on the field.
thats not on him. i watched him in barca and he made lots of attempts at forward and through balls. pirlo esque in some of his through balls.

this is the juve coaching.

Bullshit. Main gripe of Barca fans with him was exactly that, he would never pass the ball forward. Even last night I've seen a lot of them repeating that same sentiment.

you will stand behind these words: arthur never passed the ball forward. because the words of some dumb fuck barca fans are worth more to you than what i say that you are willing to say i am a bulshitting correct?

No I will stand behind stats and graphs I posted here when he just signed. His best Barca season doesn't compare to the worst Pjanić season here.

Besides holding onto the ball well he does absolutely nothing a WC midfielder should do.

Lion, I like you. I say hi to you every time I come to your Canadian Tire store.

But we could have won the match clean last night if he passed to McKennie who was wide open right in front of him. He literally had to turn his body away from McKennie to pass sideways.

I am not saying he isnt immune to criticism. I am against people claiming he only passes ball sideways. Because almost everyone in teak does that.

So you wont stand behind the words: Arthur never passes ball forward.

Which means either he does and you are wrong or like you said he never passes and you are right. Which one is it.

Arthur also only passes from side to side

The only difference between Arthur and the others is that Arthur has the composure not to pass to opponents when he gets pressed
they pass the ball back. there is no teamwork, but arthur gives decent pass. its too obvious

Its a fact that many of our players only pass backwards and sideways and cant see a nice long pass when the oportunity arises. Artur is no exception. Yesterday he missed an oportunity to play a ball to Chiesa and he immediately appologised to him, which always pisses me off cause you dont appologise, you make the fucking pass!

Like the others have said: just has to learn to pass the ball forward and he will be very good. There were at least 3 episodes yesterday where he had the opportunity to create 1vs1 situations and yet he turned around or sideways to pass. I was going to crush the TV at that point.

My main problem with him is recuperating not nearly enough balls to play as a #6. His physicality is laughable. Danilo in contrast did a great job recycling.

Can this guy play a little higher up the field?
