Yeah, he coached post calciopoli merda, to me as a fan it means he is done with us for good.
From a practical point of view, Conte always puts himself first and that's the last thing we need in this circus we are in even if it means short term success. What we need is a structural/cultural shift, and ideally a new owner/ceo.
Most here will contend conte brings that cultural change, I disagree. Conte makes his players play for him, yes, but he is very difficult to work with, essentially another giuntoli personality but with more accolades. Hard pass especially at this juncture where we shouldn't be seeking quick fixes which come with high risk to explode in our face and also do nothing to address the root of the problem, and in the best case scenario only mask it and postpone having to deal with it.

I don't know, maybe we do need to get Conte. I have zero faith in any of the other managers we have been linked with, including Mancini or the guy that looks like Epstein. Just sell all the trash, somehow get Tonali and Osimhen (won't happen), and hope for the best. That's the only chance we have at anything this decade.
I think at this point I'm just desperate for some fight and pride. I know Conte would bring it and I'd be less worried of yet another coach coming here and flopping. I also know that we will be bargain bin hunting and he can bring the best out of those types of players.
I also have no idea who else we could bring in.

Juventus problems are more profound and changing coach will not fix the situation.
First, we need a capable president who truly cares for the club and a new board. This has never been done since Andrea was kicked out.
Until we address that issue, buying new players and changing coaches is pointless.

perhaps he can. the other day he said that accountability is important at juventus. yesterday calvo resigned. maybe the two are connected.
there are also reports about elkann's growing discontent with giuntoli. club owners rarely operate as fans, they rarely fire managers mid-season, but in case giuntoli is fired during the summer, after the first season that was 100% managed by giuntoli, then it's a clear indication that juventus is still somewhat important for the ownership and bullshit seasons aren't tolerated.
i really hope that the recent rumors about elkann wanting platini, conte at the club and giuntoli out with a proper ceo in are true. i'll never be an elkann fan, he is not a football person by any means. i still hope that he can do the right things. we'll see

it will be a tough pill to swallow as i strongly dislike conte, but look at that napoli team and tell me with a straight face that it's a top2 squad in the league, let alone a scudetto winner. conte is an excellent coach. yeah that's me coping.
now let's replace the whole management too. these current bunch of clowns had their chance and blew it.

Good news about Calvo. Lack of sponsor for the whole year was a farse.
In my opinion Elkann receives lots of criticism because we cannot understand people like him as our perspectives are totally different. From his early days he was being prepared for the role he currently has and yet we think we know better than him because we read internet.
I'm pretty sure Juventus is and will be very important to the family. I believe they don't really consider the club as a typical asset but something that gives them recognition among the common people if I may call it like that

moggi was 68 when calciopoli happened. our then president, grande stevens was in his late 70's. and that juventus was probably the strongest the club has been in the last 40 years
