Did they even play defensively or is this just more made up nonsense?

Spurs had more possession, more shots on goal, more on target and more corners. Which suggests they didn't but I didn't watch the game so genuinely don't know.

From what I am reading, sounds like they sat deep first half and played more conservative, then really dominated in the second half.

I'm going to guess that you are half Italian or something because you have always seemed very biased towards Italian managers.
More Italian managers have won the Premier League than any other nationality. Not to mention, all the Champions Leagues, World Cups and Euros. The data certainly doesn’t suggest that Italian managers suck. Do you have objective proof they do? Or just your subjective (and wrong) opinion?

Italian coaches are great but as soon as they step foot on Italian soil they get a whiff of carpaccio and their innate instinct to play catenaccio overrules all other functions.

This is by far the most retarded widely-held belief on this forum.

Hiring Tuchel or Mourinho would solve all of our problems, they're not Italian so it's fine. Definitely stay away from provincial Spalletti as he isn't a "proven winner" like the other two as well.

Or Pep. Saw coaches winning the CL for Bayern before and after his stint and so far couldn't win one with unlimited funds at City either.

Klopp's record in european finals is what, 1 win and 4 losses? And the one he has won, he played against Tottenham. If he was italian, they'd have all kinds of nice nicknames for him.

They were also terrible in that game and had a lot of luck (bizarre early penalty and Kane injured).
