The one attribute that sets Allegri miles ahead of Conte is the ability to self assess ones work, being critical of oneself actions and decisions. Allegri has shown the ability to evolve, while Conte is the exact opposite. He has stagnated almost 2 years ago, regressed a year ago, and now here he is

Attention seeking? No, not really. I think pretty much all of us want to hear you admit you were wrong. Keep with the insults though. Classy as usual.

Thanks Conte for 3 titles but enjoy your mediocrity at the NT.

Conte has the same mentality of not changing and now its showing in the NT. Sam formation. Same defensiveness. Hell, he doesn't even use Veratti

insults? there is a big difference between not wanting a manager and actually insulting a manager at least to the same extent members of this forum have polluted this thread since last summer. I've said my piece a thousand times about allegri and I have praised him when due and I have criticised him when they are due too. Just accept the fact that I choose not to rave on about allegri as if he is some sort of God of football managing because I choose to remain sceptical for the time being, anything can happen between now and say in a year or 2 time.

now for the last time just drop your bullshit posts

Actually Italy national team does have enough decent players to build a solid team. Players like Florenzi even Gabbiadini can be used while waiting for the likes of El Sharaawy to heal, he can experiment. They have wide offensive players, they have a variety of forwards from Balotelli to Immobile to Insigne each ones of them different in style and ability, same deal in the midfield he has enough variety to work with. But just like it was here a year ago, he'll get comfortable with 11-15 players and milk the shit out of them and blame the institution for not giving him enough resources. Conte is his own enemy.

I have a feeling he's going to be on the Meelan bench next season.
It'd be a very interesting situation. Similar to 2011/2012, same people, different teams. Back then Allegri was also a scudetto winner, whose success was mostly attributed to Zlatan's genius (similar with Tevez right now and his amazing year), while Conte came to coach the 7th placed team from the previous season.
