If we're using a 4 man defence and need money to buy attackers then sell Bonucci ffs. Come on!
Makes me pissed off were linked with Renocchia, only really need 3 CB's for a 4 man defence as they dont get injured that often. We have pissed away so much money on defenders that were not needed. That 15 million for Ogbonna was a waste as we barely needed to call on him last season. He is decent but for the kind of money we paid for him i dont think we got good value out of him yet.

Indeed. In the end we paid that money for a sub.... just too much. And also Peluso´s money went to waste. The guy is useless. The same with Isla,

So many useless signings.

Isla was a waste, we have Caceres and Lich to play as RB. He was never needed and thats 10 million pissed away as well. Should have sold him to Merda last season and cut our losses.

Isla came here after a great season and many expected him to emulate previous form. He's RWB, RM something that we needed at that time. As for Ranocchia he's a good player and can be valuable backup for our ageing defenders.

I dont see how he was needed seeing as we already have 2 players for the right side already? Wasn't he signed as well after he got a bad knee injury?

Cacares isn't wingback, RB at most, as he lacks more attacking prowess for the wingback role. Yeah, he was injured, and the reason we got the best wingback in the league at that time for 18m. Too bad he is mentally fucked up, as this is his major issue and cause for all those abysmal performances.

I have lost count how many times he gets into great positions to only screw it up with a terrible shot or cross. When he shoots he just hits it as hard as he can as well with poor technique. He is definitely lacking confidence.

He'd maybe regain his form if he was a starter for a lesser club

Not worth keeping around for us though.
Yep he has had 2 seasons to prove himself and has been very mediocre when called upon to play for us. That goal he was at fault for against Gala when we were leading 2-1 was a stupid thing to do. How could he be so high up the pitch with like 2 minutes left and us leading such an important game.

There's quite a big gap between wanting tactical flexibility and changing to 4-3-3 as the main formation, though.
Yes. They look for tactical flexibility, definitely. 352 initially will remain as the main tactic, but 433 will be trained so it can be used in certain situations. If we get the wingers and lb to do it.

No one just loses the skills to play football from one season to other after an injury. Even players like DP and QUags who had career ending injuries recovered as if nothing happened.

Isla is just an average player and got robbed. Also saying he was the best winger in the league...says a lot about serie A. He was never that good anyways.

He is useless.

What exactly we needed him for?
Was there any chance that he would replace Licht?

Isla is not a wingback either...

He played CM, RM, RWB, RW, and LB for Udinese. Not only was he someone that if he had regained his pre-injury form, would have played RW in a 4-3-3, but his versatility was something that Juve were looking at as well. Now, I have no idea what happened after this injury. Maybe it was the pressure of playing for Juve, I don't know. This is not the same player that was playing for Udinese. He was flat out explosive with Udine.
