If you really believe we can win the CL with a forwardline of Tevez and Llorente along with the wide threat coming from a fucking CM and a fullback who has mediocre technical skills,then you are reaching Zach level delusion here.We are probably the slowest team in europe,we plain suck at counter-attacking which is an important aspect if we need to fare well in europe.

On the 2nd part - we suck at counter-attacks, truth, but it's because you can't counter attack properly with our formation, even when we had 433 against Real we still were bad at it, and it's all because Conte didn't work on this aspect of our gameplay, it's pretty simple yet you fail to understand it, also he didn't work on our defensive moves against opponents set pieces and we conceded a lot of goals because from it, yet he is talking about our poor economy status

As of right now, I feel the fact that Monaco and Tottenham are going for other coaches; PSG is keeping theirs; and that United is not looking for Conte is possibly the main reason he remains one more season with Juventus. He has nowhere to go. There are around 7/8 clubs in the world he'd leave Juve for and none of them is open right now.

Also he has a contract till 2015. It's not like he doesn't have any obligations.

Against Atalanta, fans will show huge love and appreciation for him and this will also be a factor.

And the fact that Marotta is clearly working towards wingers and guys like Lulic - who clearly are Conte's kind of players - make it likely that he will remain IMO.

I think this week he's settling that he'll stay one more year. And then, depending on the team's performance, his relationship with media and position availability in great clubs - he'll make his decision in 2015.

So I think he'll end up staying. He won't quit Juve only to go home and wait for an opportunity. He's already said that.

Nonetheless I agree with you and I think that he laid down amazing principles in this team. This mentality won't go away automatically with him, if he was to leave. We'll be OK anyways. The most important thing now is how are our realistic perspective of reaching 300M income without counting on CL money.

I said its important to be tactically flexible.Be able to be comfortable in possession and at the same time be sharp and precise on the counters especially when u're playing away from home.
Now why do we have a problem there? Its purely down to personnel.We lack the flair and pace to hit teams on the break? How cam Conte be blamed for this?
You need more attacking quality to win in Europe.Conte sure can improve and make adjustments but not until he gets the right personnel.

team,they have scored plenty of the goals by hitting teams on the break.They are definitio of a tactically flexible side.Comfortable in possession and great on the counters with their main STRENGTH being in counter attacks.Learn the difference

Stop obsessing with who scored stats.Ofcoursr Madrid are going to dominate in possession when they face scrubs on a weekly basis in la liga.Its what all big teams do.
But in Europe u'll notice that they more often than not stick to their strengths esp. against big teams which is playing on the break.

You need to be able to counter attack in games where you're not seeing a vast majority of the ball. We physically can not counter attack because of our players. So when we sit back a la Bayern we get absolutely dominated. Our wing-backs are pinned back, our 3 midfielders are busy screening the defence and we're left with ludicrous long balls and pointless 1-2's with our front men that rarely come off. Losing to a team like Bayern is absolutely fine. But not being able to make an actual clear cut chance is pathetic. No team in the World should be able to stop us from having a chance on goal.

Until we have the ability to hit on the break, we're not getting far. Because it's not like we have a whole team of players who are extremely comfortable on the ball and masters of keeping it under pressure.


Madrid could never match Bayern for possession, so they sat back and used their blistering pace to counter and made a mockery of Bayerns ridiculously high line. Whereas the best we can hope for is a lucky set piece or a lucky long-ball that actually comes off because our team is ridiculously slow, awful in 1v1 situations attacker Vs defender and hardly any of our players are direct.
