I have nothing to say about him and Serie A. He did wonders for 3 years. Could he have rested more players last game? Possible. In Europe he needs to step it up, same with our players. New tactics, formations, mentality, players...We look predictable. We're not the team who outran the opponents and controlled the game. Be less predictable, works on those damn corners, have a new formation in his book...

It was typical match by the Clattenburg, how many times you've watched him in EPL , jeez :sergio: He had 100000 worse games there, sometimes making afwul mistake, but in the international games he is almost always decent
Whilst I agree with your overall point on Clattenburg, you're surely not using a card count to judge the performance of an official.....

he gave warning throughout the whole game until he suddenly decided to use his cards
Yes in the first half he was giving warnings to both side. What i meant, most referees wouldn't dare to send off a player especially in a tie of this importance let alone sending off within 8 minutes of the players first bookable offense. In this, he showed he was brave to do the right thing.

What you want from me, to make video with from yesterday match when he didn't notice 1-2 fouls on Tevez or Llorente? It's useless, overall he had a great game, had full control of it, even added 2 minutes to 1st half because of Benfica's timewasting, added 8 minutes to 2nd half, what more can i say

I'm not crying. i agree about the poor tactic i hated the 3-5-2 since he started using it. but the time wasting by the ref played some part on slowing the game. every time they burst into attacking the ref stopping the game and kill everything off
and another thing is they destroyed our game flow with the constant breaks. they stoped alot of our (promising) attacks that way, and the ref didnt do anything to prevent that...

Its not about the cards , its about how he ran the game it was a stop start affair which is not good for a side who is looking to win . Benfica came here to defend and waste time , the ref should be smart enough to see that and let play on . Hence the 49 mins instead of the usual 60 . 11 mins is a lot of time , that is why conte complained it was not about extra time .

I just wondered why you showed that graphic. Clattenburg as a ref has a chequered past, but I agree that he wasn't the main problem last night.

Agreed. Was a little skeptical before the match as always when Brits are refereeing us, but he did fine. No point in trying to find excuses and Conte made a blunder there with his interview, especially after his quarrel with Garcia last week about similar issues.

It has become the norm - Conte says, and I feel ashamed because of his words, I'm really tired of this, especially how the whole football community is laughing at him and at Juventus because of his words :sergio:

Its not a blunder , they have timers with them on the bench to monitor the progress , thats why he was specific when he said the ball was in play for 49 mins rather than 60-65 that it is usually , its not about extra time some are not getting it .

It doesn't matter what it was about, extra time or during the game, but the point is if you lose deal with it better, don't try to find excuses. We should be above those sort of arguments.

First of all we dint loose , secondly it does matter because if its true we got 11 mins less of playing time instead of 60 that actually is a 20% gap which is a lot . Im not use that as an excuse but it was unfair if it did truly happen .

This stuff only happens to you when you're chasing results.
Yes it does because the defending team resorts to such tactics , and the ref fell for it by stopping the game every time their player went down .

He is crying and bitching about referee, but what Clatteburg could do? Add 20 minutes? He will be banned from the refereeing instantly on the next day, he added fucking 10+ minutes, and instead of saying that we were bad and we were not able to create atleast 1 100% opportunity to score Conte is crying in interview about referee, not about his poor tactics but about different circumstances, thanfully as believer he didn't said that god sent rain not to give us a pass to the final :sergio: Stop this shit already

Juventus 17 FOULS COMMITTED 16 Benfica

33 fouls is average number of fouls for european match, check the other matches :sergio:
