Not true. We have several top players, and it means a lot for them. It's obvious, for all to see.
Like?

Wait a minute. You say that no top players cares $#@! about winning the Serie-A. Unless their team goes far in the CL. Then they will suddenly start caring about winning Serie-A? How are the two even connected?
No top player would take winning a tin pot league like Serie a at the expense of doing awful in the CL, my point is that seeing how bad serie a is, it's becoming a secondary for any top player.

And we didn't do that?
in 2012 we did, but not for 2014. Your seriously comparing Liverpool and Atheltico Madrid's success in the two most competitive leagues in the world, to Juve winning a league we're clearly the best team in it? Not to mention the consider margin of points.

As for Prandelli we go through this every time, you watch at the World Cup he'll do again.

@ Suns

I think Montella could be a good option as well

you wait come the world cup when he does good again with an average team, like he always does

I don't agree with you that Serie-A is a "tin pot league" and I don't agree with you that we didn't have to put any effort in to win this year.

Not gonna bother discussing that with you any longer. Our views are too far apart.

With Prandelli now signing a new contract, it means we have no genuine replacement, so I guess we should keep him for another year
my condolences.. and very nice of you for letting Conte stay another year.

I mean, this guy it's not sacked yet??? It's a joke??? He's just on the verge of making 100+ points in a shitty league with shitty teams like Roma and Napoli, where the other teams are far from having talented, young or dangerous players can make troubles, and where little teams don't fight and don't defend at all. This motherfucker should make at least 114 points to be alright, this *** of a *****.

And the performances in Champions league, when we outshooted and outpossessed Real Madrid (even in the match in 10 men), Galatasaray and Copenaghen being the team who shot most in the CL phase (but records don't matter, only results matter, EXCEPT when Juve win, at that points everything else matter)?? That doesn't matter, he plays with 3-5-2 and no wingers so he needs to be SACKEEEEEEEED!!!!!

He just take a team hated by everyone who was not winning nothing since years after receiving a sporting disaster who would ave killed any other club for decades and started a cycle and is adored by every player he trains, he gave a winning mentality, and in 3 years he barely won 3 Scudetti, 2 supercups, in Coppa Italia just bad refereeing kicked him out 3 times, and maybe an Europa League.... HE - NEEDS - TO - BE - SACKED!!!!

Please let come Malesani, Luis Enrique, Roy Hogdson, Ballardini, Stramaccioni, Allegri, everyone but not him!!!!! PLEAAAASE!!!!

Yeah, this comic thread is nice. Where is the part of this forum where we actually talk about Conte??

Lets settle this once and for all. The Pro-Conte and 3-5-2 crowd Vs the Anti-Conte and the 4-3-3 crowd. Each should lay down what would make them change their mind/admit they were wrong?

As part of the first crowd I agree with Zach and I think that Conte did good in the first CL season and poorly in the second CL season. He is doing good in the Europa so far but thats not the same as a CL semi-final. My bet is that we will do good in the CL next season using a 3-5-2 and an occasional 4-3-3. Quarter-finals is the minimum I expect unless we face a real power-horse in the last 16. Anything less than that I'd say that he failed in Europe.

On the other hand, if we do switch to a 4-3-3 permanently then I demand a vast improvement domestically and on a european scale if I am to say that the other camp was right.
I dont care the formation really. IM more concerned about using the right personel for any formation we use, and to sign quality players to fill the void of our current useless ones.

-More attacking minded wingers who are able to beat peeps 1v1 consistently, who are eager to go and do all the offensive business until scoring, or to set proper assists constantly.
-A variation to Llorente. Inmobile is my main candidate and the one i want because he is effective and and will be "cheap" taking in consideation he will end as top scorer most likely.
-More midfield coverage. Sell Padoin , and bring back Marrone. Then buy quality player or players to rotate Pogba Vidal and Pirlo. Marchisio and Marrone is not enought, we need one more top dude.
-Sell deadwoods like Isla,Peluso,Vucini,Quags,Padoin,Deceglie,Motta.

I want to see attacking variations. Alternating between both 433 and 352 would do a world of good to us, not using one in especific like we do now.

This can be very well doable without breaking the bank or having to sell Pogba. I expect conte and Marotta to deliver this time. If not, we will risk losing the scudetto next year, and crashing early from the CL again, and that would be a major disaster to our current steady progession.

In summary, the BoD and Conte better mixthings up, or prepare for a very long season.

We would dominate Europe with big Moyesey at the helm

Imagine 83 crosses per game aimed at Llorente. 12 goals per game easily.
except that if you have average wingers, they get shut down easely by good fullbacks, and not a single good cross was launched, and juve would have problems getting possession on the opponents half

Well, I'm disappointed with that turn of events.

Problem with switching to a 4-3-3 is Tevez doesn't fit in that formation. I was against us signing Tevez for that very reason. Conte will most likely stick to a 5-3-2 next season i dont see him changing the formation or he would have done it last season before he bought Tevez.
