Beeing cautious, should do the exact opposite. going full attack, leaving less defenders and more 1v1 situations, THAT exposes to individual mistakes, because 1 fuckup has a big chance to lead to a goal

No we don't. Stop talking bullshit. Our only source of creativity is Pirlo who every opponent is marking out of the game lately. Then Tevez. That's it. Is that enough creativity for you?

The cautious approach in cl is also because of the mentality of our wingbacks licht and asa who predominantly are defensive minded , as in if they dont perform much in attack they wont be called for it but if they are caught out of position while defending they will be blamed for it maybe thats why against better sides when they press we sit deep hence the safe approach . Against weaker teams who sit back are wingbacks have more confidence to attack thats why they look more attacking .
You think our team would be more attacking if we had say cuardado and lulic instead of licht and asa , isla offers more while attacking but defensively he was caught against gala at home just to name an example .

First time we had crappy forwards. Yet we kicked out Chelsea. Oh chelsea not in its best shape ? Yeah, thats why later they went on the win the EL and easly qualified for CL.
We played a smart game against celtic, and against bayern, we learned that if you cannot keep hold of the ball up front, your central midfield is much less effective, and the flank get flooded by the opposing double wings.
This year, we had a pretty good organisation. Gave away much less straight chances. However, if you make an incredible individual mistake that leads to a goal, every single game for weeks, that is quite bad.
Not having llorente, still gave the issue of limited capacity to keep hold of the ball up front, however, we saw a change in that when he finally appeared, even not in the best form.
We showed that we can switch to a back4 to hardcounter a 4231 with 4321. Its however only a pure tactical counter solution, as it only works against teams that play a wide fastpaced 4231, leaving gaps to exploit in the progress.
Against lyon a tired team that wasent very fresh mentally aswel, still soaked up quite a bit of pressure in the first halves, and pushed back twice in the second half when the tempo went down.
Leaves me to following conclusion : 352 is perfectly fine. We need to treath each european game as if it was a fucking semi final (we tend to lose finals). And we need to cope better with high pressure. Napoli (yeah, its serie a but fuck it, its a good example) showed how we can suffer if a team with quality forwards runs at 500% at us and we cannot keep up with that.
I'd like us to learn to be better at defending deep if this situation occurs, save energy, keep a clean sheet, and like the lyon game, destroy then in the second half with more energy then they got left.

Coupled with several players capable of individual actions, it actually is. But make no mistake, Pirlo will have to be replaced with creativity. 2 creative minds is enough.

KLIN .....you are right when you say we have 2 offensive minded players ie tevez and llorente but the attack is made up with 4 including asa and licht and pogba and vidal supporting and forming triangles . I want to ask you if we had say bale tevez llorente cuardado then suddenly its looks more potent in attack no ? , all im trying to say its not the formation its the players that are in the formation , its actually a very attacking formation if we get players who are equally good both at defense and attack .
Asamoah is a DM and Lichtsteiner is a defensive full back who can't cross. We never attack with both Vidal and Pogba, as one tends to cover for the other, but if you're really saying that that's all this team can offer in attack, it's no wonder we failed in Europe, and will keep failing if we don't change things.
Do you actually see our games FFS? Don't you see how hard it is for us to break a defense with players like Licht and Asa? Doesn't it physically hurt you sometimes when you see players like Chiellini and Caceres having so much touches with the ball?

I stretched it a bit. I was gonna mention Vidal as well, but fuck me if we were to consider him creative as well. We're built like a machine, but so is Bayern, and look how they managed to do what they did. They didn't go and field 9 defensive players and 2 forwards and hope for the best.

Not at all. We got several players capable of making individual actions. Hence its how we score so many goals.
Asamoah can burst down the side, and cross it or cutback cross it. or lay it off to a cm. Licht is pretty good at running behind the defence, and creating corners.
Mean time, both vidal and pogba, one at a time, have excellent individual actions

What you are really complaining about, is that we are not allowing them to do that all at once cause we are juventus and not some spanish team

Ofcourse i agree thats what im saying , its about you seiing glass half empty and im seeing it half full , as in with the current players that we have considering our budget dont you think its just great to be where we have come in 3 years ? from being disrespected by other club fans to once again being called a top team in europe is an achievement . Im not saying this is the end , its actually the start the team with every transfer will improve and it has dont you think ? from matri and quag to tevez and llorente ? . Trust me we will change things since we have over 3 years but we just cant afford the top talent .

To play fast direct football you need pace like even say roma has with gervinho , the best example is bayern from last year is what people loved fast attacking football but under pep the same players are playing tiki taka but you wont say pep is a tactical fool would you ?
