There are many factors that determine wether a player succeeds or not. Think Michael Owen.
I put faith in berardi and immobile. they are the ones to take us forward and because I don't see juve getting players like reus or hazard you should also hope that they turn out to be champion league winning players in a few years. if not we are going to look ridiculous with the likes of nani, biarbiany or Bonaventura that we are linked to.

Last season I told u guys that immobile was a very good talent and now look at him. I recon if conte plays around him he will turn out to be a great and same applies for berardi. just hope that they don't get seriously injured or something.

You tell about every youngster he's a massive talent, so sometimes you'll be right, and the other times, you wont mention it.

Here is the deal : I hope for the best. But you cant say "he was better at age x so he'll be better when he's at age y". Absolutely doesnt work like that. Players dont follow a linear, logaritmic or exponential growth.

you seriously overrated berardi, first it was he was better than hazard and ronaldo at 19 years old and now it is he will be better than reus by the time he is 24... fucking hell i bet you were a big palladino fan too

not every. but I think there is usually a pattern when developing talent but not always. we cant tell now but we'll see who is right in a few years.

thing is with serie a is that there is too much relying with older players and therefore younger players can't break through. so we don't have enough Italian talent to build teams on unlike Germany and Spain. Nearly every fucking team has a centre back starting for the team that is over 30 it's just not good enough. players like leali should be getting serie a experience but is still stuck to serie B when we can clearly see that teams like torino, Cagliari need a proper goal keeper. so much talent wasted.

Let me explain you about life Rakib. Football players, are not bacteria. You see, bacteria follow growths that can be expressed in statistic ways, such as the lineweaver burke equation and others.

Football players, dont follow a pattern. Some players take longer to develop and turn into monsters, others peak early, some improve all their career, some are stuck at 25.

Berardi, is currently a diamond, in a fresh turd. Sometimes he shows his quality, but most of the time, you see the crap. As times passes, hopefully he'll manage to erase more and more of the turd.

Here is the deal. We dont know how big the diamond is. Or how long it will take to remove the turd.

Look at zidane, at Nedved. They absolutely exploded at certain age. Yet what you do is going like "oh this guy is better at 19 so he'll be better then them". Wel simply put : No.

Many players will be better then Zidane when aged 19. But no player will ever keep scaling that they become better then zidane at some point.

Thats all nice and fuzzy, but perhaps there is the reality that italian players just mature later in general ?

Look at african or brazillian player, hence even spanish. They all are significantly ahead at the end of their teens. However, the good italian players usually break trough like a wrecking ball at some point

reus at 19 was a kid playing in bundesliga2 and scored 4 goals.

berardi at 19 is a kid playing in a top league scoring 12 goals.

if berardi continues developing at this rate he will be great.
BUT IT DOESNT WORK LIKE THAT

of course but in order to polish the "rough diamond" you need to make sure he develops properly. this means that he should not be loaned to somewhere like genua where they would rely on a 33 year old glardino rather than a 19 yr old sensation. that's the problem with serie a.

same applies for defenders.
