Conte started out as a brave and innovative Coach during his first season.

Now he's become rigid and taken a page out of Capello's book.

1 - Why do we still not know how to counter attack?
2 - Why do we now know how to drive a team back, no matter how weak they are, when they decide to attack us and score a goal?
3 - Why are we not able to play any quick passing football as we did in season 1 under Conte?
4 - Why do we not know how to pressure teams off the ball any more?
5 - Why do we not sincerely try to win every competition we're in? Our squad is just as big as the biggest teams in Europe.

so you prefer him spitting at Pirlo's beard for scoring so late?
Uhh ya...

I'm just saying it's kinda funny how he goes mental after every win when the league is done and dusted and we're getting raped in every European competition.

It's not necessarily a bad thing, just funny.

This one is really mind boggling. How long more do we need to wait for a European title. Going by some guys who are content to just win the Serie A and make no effort on europe maybe another 30 years.

did we suck in europe last year?
Beating a Chelsea team who the manager was sacked, beating Celtic who got their ass whooped by the worst AC Milan under Galliani, and have our ass whopped home and away by Bayern.

Out of 10 how much would you rate?

you need to chill the fuck out, open your fucking eyes, get your fucking reading glasses, sit the fuck down, and for once follow the fucking progression of the conversation, the fucking statement being: "we suck in europe". there is no fucking time delimiter there, which makes this a fucking attempt at describing one of our identifying fucking attributes.

Also the fucking question wasnt destined to you.

Have a nice fucking day :p

I am talking about this year specifically :p

I did follow the progression of the convo Bro. but I thought u were done debating with that guy two weeks ago :D

In any case, be prepared for a barrage of criticism aimed/directed @ Conte (and no, not from me) if we fail to qualify on Thursday ;)

We sucked against Norsj game 1, Shaktar Game 1, our general play against Celtic was poor, we just hung back like a minnows team and scored a few goals, and against Bayern, well what can one say, we were ripped a few new ones. We were just extremely lucky Chelsea were completely out of form last year.

who? @alc? hes one of the good ones
thanks broseph, for opening b81's eyes to the good I bring.

and last year we didn't suck, but we played up to par imo. this season we regressed. I am totally in favor of giving Conte the benefit of doubt and another season, but if we don't improve, I think Juve needs to look elsewhere. Unless their expectations don't include challenging for the CL trophy.

juventus doesnt stand a realistic a chance to compete with the big money clubs imo thinking otherwise is just delusion. We should obviously aim to make it past the group stages and this year's a failure for sure, but i dont agree in labeling conte or this juventus an overall failure in europe.

What about the Europa League this season ? Surely we have an excellent chance to compete for it. For me , its been a frustrating wait of 18 years to see us lift an European tittle and I hope we can end it this season. Going out the CL on group stage was a disappointment especially after the hype we build in the early season, but not winning the Europa League will be a bigger disappointment compared to that.

This mindset means failure before your even start.

Juve can win it with a bit of balls and a bit of luck.

It's a really frustrating mentality we have especially considering we've basically won the Serie A.

this kind of low expectation is so infuriating, and that remind me that conte himself said so :sergio:

so are you telling me that galatasaray which was a quarterfinalist last season and kicked us out this season stand somewhat a realistic chance to compete than us? how about clubs like atletico then?

it remind me of del neri with his remark that as if juve went to coppa final every seasons, such loser of mentality :sergio:

I won't mention Bayern, but when you consider the mess Chelsea were in when we beat them 3-0 and how lucky we were to draw Celtic, I'd say we didn't do too great. Now take our pathetic run in CL this season and our pathetic attitude in EL as well, and you see where we're coming from. It's as if doing well in Europe is a bonus, not an objective and that is vomit-worthy.

Maybe a change in teams will bring more joy?
