I know this is the usual hyperbole but I don't really get the coward part. What is he supposed to be scared of, exactly? We always play fringe players in the cup, that'll be the same whether we have Conte or He-Man in charge, as long as we have a team which is challenging for the scudetto. He trusts those players to be good enough to win even the most difficult domestic game on paper, and even though they aren't as good as the starters they took the game very close.

So how would he have been 'brave' in this game? Play the strongest XI? Perhaps we should do that every game, be very brave.
When I say Cup Coward, it goes for all cup competitions, including the failed starts we've had in Champions League two years in a row (the last two group games two seasons ago saved us) Do you recall how bad we were for both of those seasons against weak, weak, weak sides? Even against Bayern after the first leg, he didn't change a thing to counter the complete dominance we encountered - not a single tactical change. Even when a game is going bad, he STILL decides to make subs at the 80th minute.

He's a Lion in Serie A, but a Coward in Cup competitions. He rarely gets his team's motivations to the right level, or his tactics right, when it comes to cups.

I still love him to death as a coach, and have high hopes that this aspect of his coaching will steadily improve.

He might remain in silenzio stampa until the end of season. This has been agreed with the club as a response to media in Naples and Rome, who very often take his words out of context.

Cup coward? But this year we didn't participate in knockout rounds, we didn't pass the group, that's like loosing mini league. I dunno, when someone mentions cup tournament, I suddenly think about knockout rounds, not group games.

We've reached our maximum under Conte's guidance and to continue with further progress he needs to leave; He's limited coach who doesn't have the right mentality for CL and players sense that responding in the way we've all seen, etc...Right?

Some of us simply don't see it that way and emotions have nothing to do with it.
Obviously Conte is inexperienced as far as cl compared to other managers however just look at how our game play changed over the last 3 seasons. I think if we manage to get players allowing Conte to change formations, I think we will see a new Juve, in term of tactics in such. I say if this mercato is a success and we manage to get wingers which allow conte to change his game play, give him one more season and if he doesn't improve the cl campaign then get rid of him.

We should get rid of him right away and opt for someone who can play a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1. We'll definitely win the CL or at least make the semis if we had a different tactic. Winning only scudettos every year is not good enough.

Don't know if trolling. Probably trolling. Unless it's retardation.

Might as well get someone who isn't concerned with qualifying for the CL, only winning it. Someone that will put all his eggs in the CL basket and execute. As long as you win you don't have to qualify. Juve have enough Schudetti. Next couple of years needs to be under a manager that will concentrate on the CL and only the CL.

Yes, it is clear that the 3-5-2 is a tactic of cowards and losers and doesn't work at all in the CL. With the 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 we would have surely passed the group stage, and would have been one of the top contenders for the title. Conte has to be sacked immediately if he doesn't realise this.
