Even if you don't care about the EL, don't you think there is a need for Juve to get as much exposure to European football (and two-legged knock-out football) as possible?
certainly, and it also means more opportunities for me to watch my team play, but i honestly dont care if we dont win it

it's still better than pot3 or pot4. pot 2 gives us a better chance to top our group and avoid a heavy-weight in the round of 16.
admittedly so, but doesnt that go against the prevailing opinion here that we ourselves are a heavy weight and play to win it every year?

Winning it ? We are not at that level yet.Right now making deep CL runs for this team is necessary financially and also from a prestige perspective. If we put our efforts in EL,chances of getting easier groups/opponents in CL will be much higher.Lets put our efforts atleast here, there's no harm in doing so,luck can take care of itself then.

We played a tougher group last year and won it with a weaker squad, it's football we are talking about here.
o really?

last year only against Shaktar at home did Juventus look out of place (andnmaybe first 15 minutes against Chelsea). All other games Juve was playing it's normal game

This year against all the teams, Jvuetnus looked out of it's depth.

also so much for the Juve does well againt big teams. Both Bayern and Madrid dismantled Juve with ease

No really.

If Ranieri or Del Neri was still coach and he said it's not like Juve wins CL, EL, Or Coppa everyyear. this forum would go into meltdown.

But somehow delinquets like soaring krap, Klin, and you think it's ok.

with ease? madrid needed chiellini/caceres help and luck to keep up.

IMO what really sucks about CL is the fact that it's open to teams which actually have not won the league @swag
:agree: Playoff inflation. It's the bane of the NHL, for example.

Yeah, Lion, if you people actually bothered reading what we actually write instead of letting emotions take over, it would be much easier to discuss.

Edit: We're all emotionel after a loss, but it should be over after a day or two.

it's ok to what? i dont rate CI or EL, but if we were out of contention for the scudetto like we were with del blacks then yes id try to get the consolation prize. As for CL, conte already said many times that we cant compete with the europe elite yet.

We've reached our maximum under Conte's guidance and to continue with further progress he needs to leave; He's limited coach who doesn't have the right mentality for CL and players sense that responding in the way we've all seen, etc...Right?

Some of us simply don't see it that way and emotions have nothing to do with it.
