Another thing. Put Ogbonna in for Bonucci, someone who actually attacks free balls and someone who can jump off the ground. We got beat the same way we did in the first match and not only did we have that as a reference but the whole goddamn world knew long balls had to come.

3 on 3 in front of our box in the 85th minute. :sergio:

Bonucci was not to blame for the goal, at all. His task is to cover the space behind the defense while it's CHIELLINI who needs to stay on Pogba like Badass on Janna to force lose balls for Bonucci to cover.

I'm officially on the fence regarding Conte's ability to take us to the next level. The mentality we showed in this game was atrocious.

That disqualification, samewise the loss of the silver star and cup to Napoli, falls upon Conte's shoulders.

He made far too many mistakes, the qualification was lost in the second game, we have underestimated our opponents and lost ghe opportunity to claim second spot there.
It was a certasinty that they wouldntblet us get more than one point from the 2 Real games.

We got really really lucky to get the chance we got today, the worst possible option was to solely rely on a defensive solidarity we dont have, without fully controlling the midfield to getvus through.
We knew that Bonucci is not a top defender and than Drogba still has moments of brilliance, we have experienced that in the first game, but learnt nothing from it...

Or he could attack a ball once in a while.

I can't believe people are blaming Conte for this particular loss! This was not a football game. PERIOD.

If any, y'all can blame Conte for wasting 4 points in the first two matches. But UEFA are a bunch of fuckers, this game should've played last night.

I think people are mad about the first two games.

2 points against Copenhagen and Galatasaray in our first two games was unacceptable.

God bless the 3-5-2 and defensive wing backs. We defend so $#@!ing good we didn't even qualify from an easy Group in CL.
Can we please donate Zacheryah to Milan forums ? I'm just sick and tired of all this stupid new terms that have been invented to overrate our already overrated team.

Please send him someone ,let him shag there all day.

That's not the way we play, Bonucci is asked to sit back because we're supposed to have a pressuring mammoth in Chiellini who does that job. Bonucci has great positioning and he executes his job very well when Chiello is on form. Would you rather have Chiellini sit back, with his amateur positioning and have the physically weaker player, Bonucci, attack? Or would you have to guys attack the ball so a simple flick on results in a 100% chance? Use your head

It's critiqueworthy to draw in Copenhagen and against Galatasaray at home, but as for this match, I think people should ease up a little bit. It was a pure lottery out there, could've gone either way.

It doesn't matter when this game was played today or tomorrow or yesterday. The forecast is the same. I don't want any excuses from Conte because this isnt the game that eliminated us. He should come out and accept the deficiencies of the system if anything, rather than talk about the pitch tonight. Or not talk at all. If he makes any excuses, then he needs to grow a pair.

On another note, Mancini got unbelievably lucky tonight.
