yet he used many formations in the past. Now he's stuck with one. I don't get it. The Pepe excuse is BS. He could use 3 of out forwards at the same time but doesn't. If he scared of defensive coverage then don't use Pirlo in some games but he doesn't.

Exactly and remember last season when Alessio was taking place of Conte and we would paly a 3-4-3 with like vidal-pirlo-marchisio-asa and matri vucinic and gio being the 3 forwards or something like that. Why cant Conte change it up some how? Its like he will never change

He would switch to a 3-4-3 when we were trailing. Like aganist cagliari I remember Bonucci or a cb was taken off and a cf was put on and we were playing like a 2-5-3 or something

I never drop the formation situation. We play the 3-5-2 for a couple reasons. One reason being the 3 cbs allow more protection for when teams hit on the counter and you have Pirlo who doesnt really offer too much defensively who is also covered by vidal and marchisio/pogba. Another reason is to accommodate all our best players onto the pitch however now we have pogba who doesnt have a guaranteed starting spot and you also have asa and bonucci who have been playing like shit this season. Aganist a team like Madrid I would rather see us play a 4-3-1-2 which could help us play a little more defensive if we dont make our fullbacks push forward or if for example say cacers plays as rb and ogbonna as lb. If we were to make caceres push forward and force ogbonna to stay back you would essientially have 3 cbs. Even though with this you wouldnt have wingers and the width would be a problem aganist madrid you really dont have width in the 3-5-2 and if they play their counter attacking style we are fucked with the 3-5-2. Countering and pressing completely fuck the 3-5-2

Lol okay What i was saying was I rather see Juve play like a 4-3-1-2 or something and basically play a 4-4-2 and invite pressure and try to play counter attacking football given that Real Madrid's defense isnt strong. So like we play like this

Not only are we pushed back but now we have 5 defenders and 3 midfielders and those midfielders have to try to cover the open space between the defence and the attack. When Real Madrid will attack it will be something like

With playing with a 5 man defence you give so much room in the midfield to allow both Bale and Ronaldo who we all know have really nice shots and we will allow them to take shots from outside the box and we cant close them down. IF you look at the Fiorentina game and if we are to give as much room to Real Madrid as we did to Fiorentina we can expect the game to be over in the first 20mins

one way to offer more protection is to drop the inverted triangle regista+2CMs and change it to 2DMs+1AM, what's the point of having the world best box to box midfielders if they routinely caught off guard due to them being too further forward?

He should but his heart is not into it. He doesn't look like the Conte of the last 2 years, especially the 1st one. Maybe he's pissed at the board for not getting the players he wanted or sold the ones he wanted to keep...

Conte doesnt care about the money he cares about the players. I dont see how Conte could be mad that Matri left even though he barely played him

d) lacks hunger and motivation
e) looks disastrous defensively
f) insanely predictable in attack

So people bemoaning lack of wingers that Conte so "desperately" desires, should think of these things first.

I agree 100% but everyone keeps saying it is the teams fault. Honestly thats only half of the problem. I think Conte basically has to start from scratch and change his tactics

Of course there has been quite a few retarded individual errors so far this season (which are not Contes fault obviously) but our GENERAL play is just so lame and predictable at the moment. Maybe what people are saying about 3 year cycles is right.

Anyway, for better or worse, I don't see Conte staying further than this season.
