Just realised I wrote WhoreScored
We have also suffered all 5 of our losses from the past 3 seasons using the 3-5-2.

That's the main reason for our current difficulties. Just look at how easily most goals we have conceded this season could & should have been avoided. Teams that play against us right now don't need to create opportunities, they don't need to work to score a goal. We just gift them.
Take these very basic errors out of our game & it's an entirely different thing. And this has absolutely nothing to do with whatever formation you play.
So do you think that the long balls that we are using at the beginning of every game is something we have been using the past two seasons? And the little press that we are putting is also something we are used to? In other words, are you telling me that the only difference this season is from the previous seasons is that we are gifting the opponents opportunities?

I do agree with that but at the same time offensively nothing comes easy for the team and everything is a struggle. Even if the defence got back in order offensively the team would still struggle.

A peasants question, for an easy answer.

The 3-5-2 is like the azzurri. Perfection in cup competitions. Much less in leagues and groups.

Why ? Because its made to fucking counter any excisting offensive or creative formation into the fucking ground. thats what it does.
In the knockout, we'll have a solid team, that should neutralise the opponent and score itself.

However, there is the weakness of creativity againse le defensive team. as you find in league games, and group stages.

Currently, nothing much we can do. Vucinic and Tevez are central SS. Llorente is central striker, and quagliarella is "centralsomething" who outscores them all in europe.

So we cant change our frontline, or formation, but we can change the type of players.

Adding a peluso or fucking islashit to one side, and asamoah or lichtsteiner to the other, gives crossing options.

yes, juve should try to work on both the passing setup to play trough defence, or the crossing setup to bend it to llorente or quag.

All in all, its what are doing. We could do wit more aggression tho. But mostly

CAN BUFFON AND THE DEFENCE STOP MAKING GODDAMN PEASANT MISTAKES EVERY FUCKING SINGLE GAME THAT HAS IMPORTANTS FOR FUCKING FUCKS SAKE FUCKDAMN

Seriously, it was fucking disgusting

First mister "centreback pirlo playmaker" and mister "ice cold reflex (litterally)" that fuck up a backpass

Then mister "real madrid is good, no juve, no inter, no again juve" that forgets where he's playing.

Seriously. You dont see that shit in Belgium, and we have pretty pathetic defending in the league since everything above "mediocre pile of shit" is directly packed, raped and shipped to the EPL

But our swashbuckling 4-3-3 from 2011-12 has produced less goals than our defensive 3-5-2 in all three seasons so far @whoevercares
We have better players now and our MF has been more prolific since then.

“It’s pretty obvious that we can no longer play our game. During these two years, however, a lot of teams have changed the way they play and we need to slightly change our approach to be the Juve of the past.”

“In Europe, though, everything is more complicated because we are facing strong sides who mostly try to play their own game.”

-Barzagli
So we're fucked because other teams in Serie know how we play and they're adopting their tactics when playing against us and we're also fucked in Europe because teams they play their own game there.

The main issue is having a different approach to change to if Plan A isn't working. It doesn't necessarily have to be a change in formation or even personnel, if you use players in a different way.

Our success has come from his methods, so I'm loath to start criticising now. Our strength has been covering all areas of the pitch and giving little away, winning games on details and sometimes by bigger scores. Now we are giving a lot away in small moments of games, and it kills us.
I agree with that, it is the approach that is annoying me most, we seem to be lethargic for longer periods and we wake up once things get complicated. And this approach has become a habit recently.

He says that in italy we need to work out how to break the busses they park , and in europe that we do fine cause opponents play their own game, however, he wants his defensive colleagues to stop sucking major ass

Capello
Capello
Capello
You have actually nailed it here, we take games the same way we used to during the Capello days except that the difference was that we had Del Piero, Trezeguet and Zlatan at their top together with Nedved, Camoranesi, Emerson and Vieria and I will not mention a defence that every team in Europe would commit a mass genocide to have.
