Yeah I don't get having Chiello marauding forward, it doesn't really add anything.

He has to maraud forward because of our formation + Pirlo. He's the only one open. But if you subtract a CB and add an attacker, then Pirlo is the one who is open or else the opposition risks being too light in defense. That's how Pirlo had all day to deliver that 2nd goal.

He changed tactics during the game replacing Bonucci with Llorente. Hence, 4-3-3 with Asamoah being a leftback! We equalized, then went in front. Then, the players lost it in less than a minute. I'm sure Conte didn't ask them to lose concentration this quick.

Because you don't do that so late in the game, you don't start your match cautious as fuck kicking the ball from defence to their goalkeeper. Every fucking match we played this season we did the same thing, we got lucky against Lazio that these long balls reached our forwards. He's a coward to start this way and showing courage ONCE by removing a defender for a forward does not prove otherwise.

First of: I don't really care what formation we play. 352, 433, 442, etc, in the end that's only a detail anyway.

But if you want to play 433 with overlapping fullbacks, situations like the one we saw today will often arise. Can't really avoid them, even if you obviously do have to handle them better.
