Dude, we all love Conte, but after the showings against bayern..we are in all our right to raise our eyebrows.
He never adjusted or tried to change what was going on, then after the first game he went to the media and said we dont belong and we are outsiders etc etc. Then the second game comes and well we tried but we knew we were already out. And again he failed to inject some of his intellect into the game via subs etc..
He has a long way to go, but luckily for us theres still time. The thing is that he should learn from this experience and return wiser for the next campaign.
Like Baggio said, its not the end of the world.. we lost against one of the very best.... but seriously...we could have been defeated with pride. We were simply skinned and the players were just there to be pummeled. No grinta no nothing... they were defeated mentally before both kegs started and that hurts.

Just to put things in perspective:
The so called greatest coach of all time (and even if you don't agree with that; at least he's definitely in the top 5 of all time) Sir Alex Ferguson, has won the European Cup/Champions League 2 times during his 27 year-long stint at Manchester United, one of the greatest clubs in the world, and a club that is and has always been well equipped to win the CL, mind you.
We're talking about the hardest competition, not just in world football, but in world sport here. We're back in this tournament after a pretty lengthy absence, and I for one am very proud of what we achieved in this tournament this season.

Apart from the fact that we were playing with handicaps because of Marotta's work, like a toothless attack, as we have no finisher, a shaky defense as we use a CM as LB and time bomb in Bonucci.
We were outplayed in a tragic level, twice and this degree means that the coach is also at fault as well, as the difference in material, was to their favor indeed, but not thaaaaat much...
Having said, there is absolutely no chance in hell that this board will be lucky enough to find anything, even remotely close to Conte's value, so there is no reason to wish him gone, at any case, just some healthy criticism, to focus where it hursts and streghten our selves.

And to add that this is the first year we are in a CL with a proper team and a good coach might be looked upon as a positivie thing.
Cronios with you, I'm sure you would go all out attack on our team even if we would have lost in final. It would go something lik this - "Apart from the fact that we were playing with handicaps because of Marotta's work, like a toothless attack, as we have no finisher, a shaky defense as we use a CM as LB and time bomb in Bonucci. If not for all this we would have been champions." The thing you are missing that this team have reached this with the players you mentioned and the team as a whole as it is, so maybe it's not that awfull as you are painting it?

No, you didn't understand what i was insinuating. I didn't expect 4 goals in 25 minutes at all. But by the team's reaction you could tell that they were never in the match to begin with. You'd normally see a team get very upset and, expressing anger or being upset and conceding a goal that killed the tie. We weren't. Almost like we had accepted the fact that we were losing to a better team.
I do t think it's just the tactics. We were mentally defeated a lot before the tie even began and Conte's constant praise of Bayern seems to have taken the pressure off. Before the game I had thought he's probably playing to the gallery and making Juve look down and out, but Juve on the pitch looked and behaved down and out. That's what was sad.
