That is what happens sometimes when you only have 2 players who are offensive players and both of them are not really creative or know how to control a ball. We need more attacking minded players, especially wingers. That mofo Isla needs to pick his game up because having two defenders in Peluso and Licht on the wing is good defensively but offer nothing offensively.

Bad decision starting Matri and Quag, but they left him little choice by scoring against Inter.
The strikers were not at fault for this result.

Vucinic - Gio
Anelka - Matri
Quag - Vucinic
Matri - Gio

Would have been the same result. When the defense and midfield behind the attackers can't string 2 passes together and get the ball up then there isn't much you can expect from the isolated strikers.

Quag-Matri due was not only dysfunctional, it also eliminated Marchisio from the game. Of course a world class player always dictates his game regardless of the circumstances but Marchisio is not one and Conte has to be aware of this. Marchisio started playing much better when Vucinic came in. We should have paired either of Matri and Quag with Vucinic. I don't know why Conte had to wait until the second goal because it was plain obvious that Matri-Quagc were not going to do shit beside each other.

This is why Red was right when he said the 3-5-2 isn't best suited for the 4-2-3-1.

We were hammered at the back, and on every counter attack we were always ending up 3 against 3 at the back.

I completely agree with you when you said that Mirko should have started this and partnered with either Matri or Quag, but I really fail to believe that it would have made any difference tonight. We failed to get to ball from our defense to the midfield, let alone our attack. Their forwards and midfield completely hammered us down. They knew our moves before we even made them. We were getting tired due to our own mistakes. This is why I don't understand when Conte and the players praise how unpredictable our game is. Depending on the forwards Conte decides to play, we only have 1 game plan.

We should have played with 3-6-1. Strikers were very bad today. Conte gets a D- for this game, but maybe it would have been different without the early goal.

They scored a fucking lucky goal out of nowhere after 1 minute. That fucked up everything, but wth didn't he change our gameplane, let's say, in halftime?
Conte never does. He always thinks that by some miracle we will suddenly start playing better and the opponent, who was obviously superior in the 1st half, will suddenly start to shit their pants.

This is where Conte needs to improve majorly.

no, actually we started playing when Vucinic and Gio came on. Question is why did he take Conte forever to make substitutes. Is it some rules at Juventus HQ, that you can't make an early sub. He pulled off a ranieri there.

this first goal really did his magic tbh.. cause i feel that juve could have done better but it's luck. the 3-6-1 with the right players could have solved the problem after the goal but anyway. people got to understand that it's his first time to go this far and he lacks experience.. it was a hard match anyway.
of course hoped he did better than that.
