Agreed. Marotta's comments were uncalled for and ill-conceived.

The ref would have only said that after Conte came bolting onto the field towards him with his entourage, as a reaction to the situation.

The ref was a toothless moron no doubt, but Conte's behaviour counts. You watch our players start to complain about every call for games going forward.

That's what you call a pure class reaction.
what are they banning marotta from?

I think for the fact that we are JUVE, we should only score bicycle kicks from outside the box ala Zlatan. If we won't manage to do so before the 89th minute of a game, we should score an own goal because a team like us should have scored at least 3 times by that time. We shouldn't be relying on simple goals.

My thoughts exactly lol.

So, because Conte lost control of the sideline...we now have him gone for 2 games, Chiellini banned for 1 and Bonucci too?

Unacceptable. When we have Napoli breathing down our necks and no Trophy mathematically secured, Conte has got to contain himself. None of this should be a surprise to anyone at the club that the refs aren't going to bend over for Juve on PKs. They just won't. We know that. We should be focusing on improving or offense and finishing and not giving away goals and throwing 2 points away.

Fix our finishing, we will be laughing all the way to the finish line despite PKs not getting called.

Time to stop making excuses, and hold your own players accountable, not the refs.

Who's making excuses? We played bad, no one is arguing against that. It's simply the truth that we could still have been 5 points over Napoli if the ref had given that penalty, and we wouldn't have stolen anything.

There was this guy on Twitter who tried to emulate what Agnelli would have said, and I think he hit the bulls eye.

Agnelli - Penalties not given? I don't know, all I know is that we should have won 3-1.
So he's basically saying we should have had two penalties :p I counted the same

Conte's actions were disrespectful and lacked foresight.

We could have limited the damage to 2 points lost but his actions, and the players actions, which he of course supported wittingly or not, could now mean that we lost more points unnecessarily.

Conte should know better than blaming the ref for not awarding a penalty - he should look at his team's efforts of late, their defensive performance, their lack of finishing abilities, and most importantly, he should be looking square at himself in the mirror for his weak tactics this year. The ref is not at fault for any of these things, he is simply an excuse for our own shortcomings.

Conte's success first season in charge was close to miraculous, be he should never allow the success to get to his head and make him believe he can act as he pleases and more importantly, as though it's okay to set a bad example for the players and the entire Juventus club.
frankly im not even mad...we are playing dreadfully and im embarassed..we may have the strength to grind out something but there are sides that play proper football better than us at the moment..even some of the smaller sides...i try to avoid conte's post match speech because in some of those dreadful performances he has come out and said "we fought hard", "we played very well" etc etc and to hear that its sickening...altho im probably sure he gives them an earful in training after...

i wish we would keep the football simple..these long balls to vuci or gio up top..these flicks that go to no-one..and my god these passes that go wildly astray...at times they look like a high school team..even the smaller sides manage to hold possession and pass it around better..we do so but only in spurts and thats just not good enough...our attack looks jumbled and clueless and so very predictable..just hit it across the box and hope.. :sergio: let me stop before i get an ulcer

Agnelli isnt even close to the emotional attachment that conte and marotta have with the team
Their jobs depend on the results, agnelli is not going anywere.
Pressure, stress, and passion for juve, causes these things to happen.

To those that dont understand, you probably never played a competitive sport in your life, and should shut the fuck up in that armchair

Mate - do not defend wrong actions blindly.

Most here play competitive sports and some can tell right from wrong. Emotions and passion are not an excuse for questionable behaviour.

you expect a person who's passion and fire is as recognised as conte, to react like ranieri ?

I might have bad news for you.

Marotta is a diffrent story, but he's defending conte and who care's he cant represent the club for a week or two.

agnelli, did it the best way. easy, his job isnt on the line and if we fail he can fire the trainer and manager

Reacting the way we did shows we're in crises and are desperate.

That sort of reaction in a cup final would be completely understandable. But in a mid-season league game against lowly opposition? Not the right moment.
