It's the same system that produced the Calciopoli 'justice'.

It's flawed to the point of corruption, there's no doubt about it. The whole premise of being guilty until proven innocent is in itself a perversion/corruption of law, considering it circumvents due process.

Beyond that, we're all aware of the uneven investigation of Calciopoli, the G. Rossi involvement, TIM taps, etc. It's not simply flawed, there was selective prosecution occurring (as the FIGC's own review effectively stated, when it revealed the other clubs' transgressions), and it speaks to corruption that is effectively inherent in ANY system this flawed.

Calciopoli was due to a corrupt system, but Conte's ban wasn't.

Totally disagree. It's the same system, Melo; it's all guilty, until proven innocent. Like I said, anytime a legal system allows for one to be deemed guilty until proven innocent, due process has been circumvented; that to me is a form of corruption in and of itself.

The reality is that the FIGC has done a shit job of monitoring and enforcing sporting impropriety for years (likely because those at the top have been influenced by external forces), so they engage in these show trials - that way the sheeple think they're doing their job. The majority of the sentences handed out are based on nothing tangible, it's an absolute joke. That is corruption, full stop. Pinning blame on others without proper evidence, destroying reputations of innocent men with nothing concrete to base accusations on, so that it looks like the FIGC is doing their job effectively, is an example corruption.

If the point you're making is that Juventus wasn't targeted more than any other team during this most recent round of trials, then that's fine. Although unless you're deep in the system itself, I'm not sure how one could say this with any certainty - especially after being screwed over by the same system in the recent past.

Fuck Portanova.

After Calciopoli and the Scomessopoli, I learned to like, love and support Juve and only Juve. Not a single support for any other club. I see everybody else as enemies.
I would love and like to see every player, coach and club to have exactly the same treatment as we had! I want them to feel what Juve, players, coaches and fans felt like. I want them so see what injustice we were faced with.

so why not ban zeman for his outburst regarding the terms of Conte's ban? why not ban the fucker from the CONI for telling us to shut up? is it now punishable for speaking their minds? if so then zeman should be on a life time ban now
what he said was worst from a figc point of view he said Abate was the problem with Italian football (the only time he said something smart) nothing has been mentioned since, now if someone from Juve said that the media would not shut up about it and we will get a public blasting from the figc that we have to respect them

Italian football is just a joke and disgusting from a administration point of view

I'm till waiting for the day where Inter gets their punishment for wiretapping, fake passports and violating article 6. Until that day happens, the system maintains corrupt.

yes as much as i agree with Zeman on the abete outburst he was out of line, but in typical figc fashion he gets away with it because he is zeman and he hates Juve as much as the figc do

its funny how the figc is obviously influenced with teams that wish the worst for us...

... only to see 6 years later that we are back and miles ahead of them, while they are all dying out.

Calciopoli was devastating for italian football, and the only team that is standing again, is Juventus.

fucking feels good to be a juve fan watching inter and milan struggle some more

I feel sorry for the guy to be honest. He is a victim of this stupid system just like Conte but unlike him he didn't have an expensive legal team defending him.
And that's the only difference, not what Portanova is insinuating. The initial sentences show that Conte was made an example of, not favoured.
