I don't think the 'out to get us' stuff really flies with this tbh, it's not a Juve-centric case. We just have some guys involved with other teams who were named by ex-colleagues trying to help themselves. Just as hundreds of other guys have been named and tried, and dozens punished, some even with jail.

It's only the media who push the 'Juve' line. I'm not a conspiracy theorist on this one, because no one has been punished and so at this point you can't say they have been treated unfairly.

I'm more worried now that we need to find a new CB. Conte accusation of fixing games is out of question. Only 2 games were they say he knew something dodgy was going on but didn't report it. His assistants got the same too so the rumors of Carrera coaching us for a while are coming out. For Pepe I'm not worried and Bonucci is the one in trouble. I hope he proves he didn't have nothing to do with this. Maybe just knew about it but didn't report it.

If they accuse Conte of knowing about it then why aren't they Siena player accused of something, anything?
You tell us, Markus :D

I am not too worried about conte or pepe cause even if they are banned i doubt it will be for too Long and still they can go on appeal etc.... I am def worried about bonucci.... He risks a really long ban and we don't have too many cb. I dont trust lucio especially in a 3 man defence and masi also plus caceres injury...

But a ban of 4-6 months for conte will possibly throw out to the window all what was accomplished the last season.
He is the mastermind behind this team, without him, we are nothing. As simple as that.

Yes, I agree. But I have a feeling that anyone associated with Juve will be treated unfairly.

Thats true but i don't want to belive he is banned for so long. There are no proofs other than a criminals word Even if that maybe enough for the sporting justice, the ban will get reduced on appeal. I'll be optimistisch on this One and doubt he gets more than 1-2 month... While pepe could get 3 maybe.
As pepe is no 1st Team player and conte could still make the tactics etc this One would not hit us that hard

And what did you say? Ignorant people need educating. If they don't want to listen then that is their choice, the words of ignorant people mean zero anyway.
I told them what i know... Especially that those people where Not at juve at this Time.... And its only cause of One proven criminal.... But still those people read some papers who they Trust more than a juve fan defending his beloved Club. And there are enough people who just read the papers without haveing a juventino as a friend

Masiello has accused pepe , bonucci and ranochia for match-fixing in the udinese-bari match

With what bases has he decided the first 2 to be accused and not the third ?

Prezziosi has said some time ago that if palacio is involved in scomessopoli he will return the money back to merda :inter:
Expect palacio to be ungilty of all charges with a letter of exuses sent to merda

Conte considers plea bargain
By Football Italia staff

Antonio Conte’s lawyer admits the Juventus Coach could offer a plea bargain after he was charged with failing to report attempted match-fixes.

The tactician had faced the far more serious accusations of sporting fraud, but his interview with prosecutors convinced them he was at most only aware of an attempted fix rather than actively involved in it during his time at Siena.

“When this whole affair began, there were much more serious scenarios painted by the sporting and civil justice systems,” lawyer Antonio De Renzis told Tgcom24.

“That scenario has been taken down a few notches and I think we are going towards a shelving of the civil charges.

“As for the sporting judges, we see that now it has been taken down from sporting fraud to simply not reporting an attempted fraud. That has again changed the scenario that had been painted.

“I think the work done during the investigation helped to show how little responsibility Conte had in the matter.”

Several clubs have already taken plea bargains to reduce their punishment and get the sporting trial over as quickly as possible. It is a route Conte could well follow.

“A good lawyer never takes anything off the table because he has to evaluate the situation. A plea bargain is one thing in a civil court and another in a sporting court.

“Everyone always said that the sporting justice system is the opposite of a civil one, as here the accused has to prove his innocence rather than the other way round. The accused must prove in some way that the accuser is lying.

“In that sense, a plea bargain would perhaps lack intellectual honesty. For the moment we are simply content to see the prosecuting scenario dropped down a few notches.”

It is big news for Conte, because he was dragged into the trial by former Siena player Filippo Carobbio, who claimed the Coach told the team in a locker room meeting that a result was 'already decided.’

However, the other players in the same meeting denied this ever happened and Conte’s testimony also helped prosecutors to consider Carobbio’s accusations less than entirely reliable.

It could well prompt the rest of Carobbio’s testimony to be reconsidered by prosecutors, who had until now stated he was “a reliable witness.”
Conte had claimed Carobbio was implicating him because there had been a row between their respective wives.

Instead, it seems as if the prosecutors only took into account the alleged testimony of ex-Siena player Roberto Di Martino, who said he told Conte at the time that he’d turned down the offer to 'fix’ Novara-Siena as a high-scoring match.

Conte and Di Martino are therefore accused of not reporting the attempted fix to authorities.
