its good to know that we're going to have the same coach for two consecutive season. Hasn't happened since ranieri, and he didn't even last the full second year

It was clear even to the kids in the stands that the moment Cuardado got the red, Giaccherini should have replaced Caceres. There was so much space on that flank and we wasted it with Caceres. And Conte used two subs after that red card yet he didn't make the most logical sub.

Edit: Wait, was Giac on the bench at all?

hate the fact that he allowed the team to become too complacent, if I were conte I would've even more loud than cosmi and kick my players asses!

on a positive note though, this could be the taste of europe and next season competitions so may be a good event to therapy our team...

I think he sat next to Boriello on the bench.

I honestly think Conte will tell his men not to give up and give some miraculous motivational speech. I still think we can win this, provided he manages to boost the team's morale.

He was on the bench, but I agree.

Exactly. Surely a tactician such as Conte would have seen that, and the fact that he didn't make the sub is a lack of balls. Ironic how Conte's major asset (grinta, and his ability to project it onto the team) is where we failed in so miserably today, and it's a failure which might cost us the league.

Can't believe he compared us to Chievo Verona's great title victory in 84-85 in his press conference while we had THREE games left. There's going to be a huge amount of criticism in the next few days, hopefully he can convert that energy into something useful.
