I think Ciro had a problem with DP. He didn't have enough authority to bench him when he recovered from injury. Conte is a different story. He was captain and midfield general, he knows how to command.

Someone on VS put some stats that the team was travelling well, just got used to a 4-2-3-1, but then ADP came back and it all went to s***.

DP is most our most creative force upfront.

Individually creative, yes. But i think he went a year in serie a with only 1 assist. TBH, i was sickened at times last year when he was going for goal, any angle/distance imaginable.

We'll see how much balls Conte has as the season goes on.

It happened against Bordeaux in CL. Ciro put DP on LW in 4-2-3-1, and it was hard to watch. Especially since he just got back from injury and only logical thing would be to leave him on the bench. We lost 2-0 and Ciro insisted on playing DP when he clearly wasn't ready. Later we lost against Bayern and the team spirit was ruined. I think those were our crucial games, and almost everything after that Bayern game was very poor.

When he is in form no matter of his old age he is one of the best players. Currently and in pre season he played very good, especially against Milan I liked his link up play with Vucinic. They seem to understand each other well and I'm pleased that his attitude in regard of coaches substituting and benching him has changed. Look at Totti's face after he gets sub. It's a disgrace.

Very bad decision. If you remember us trashing Sampdoria 5-1 with Giovinco, Diego and Camoranesi playing like possessed. Other problem with Ferrara was his inabillity to adapt current situation. After Sampdoria we played against Napoli and went 2 goals ahead and then Camo got injured so Ferrera brought Tiago and continued with 4-2-3-1. We lost in the end. It will be interesting to see if Conte can avoid these kind of mistakes.

i was really going mad on Tiago and couldn't believe we lost them that day i started to hate Napoli
