as following players would not have a place there, right :

boksic, birindelli, amoruso, corini, carrera, lombardo, fonseca, di vaio, tudor, virchowod

note how i did not even name the usual escape goats in this discussion like salas, appiah, oliseh and so on

we always had a good bunch of dead wood... just because people either do not remember or did not even follow juve back then does not change the fact.
Well said, I was actually thinking yesterday what Juventus would of looked like if Calciopoli never happened. You have a better chance at winning the lottery then guessing what prediction lol. Anyways just funny that I was thinking that and now reading posts about what players Juve wouldnt ever of had.

The 4-2-4 is a good idea, but he shouldn't stick to it as if it was a religion or something if he doesn't have the proper squad to fit this system. At the moment, with the squad we currently have, I think we are much better suited to the 4-3-3-system. Marchisio - Pirlo - Vidal is our best midfield, there can be no doubts about that. Leaving Pirlo and one of Marchisio/Vidal in the middle makes us too vulnerable. Conte must surely see this. Especially now that most italian sides operate with 4 or 5 players in the middle of the park.

I agree. Playing a 4-2-4 is awesome to open the game and cut off the opposing team up high but it cant last forever because lets face it running that hard that much is impossible. I saw it lastnight with real against Barca. real pressure like crazy but once they let off boom 2 goals in 10minutes. 4-3-3 suites us perfectly I really dont think Vargas will come so I think this is our best solution then push to a 4-2-4 either in the first 10-15 to dictate the pace or if we are behind.

It's the same for every single one of our players, barring Buffon, maybe Chiellini.

Krasic, Melo, Matri, Quag, Vucinic and everyone else would have no place in pre-Calciopoli Juve's starting XI.
Starting XI

Anyway, Melo was taking a dig at Marchisio saying he's only in the team because of Calciopoli. If so, it would apply for all the other players.
What the hell are you guys talking about?

I don't think their indifference to the losses was big deal really. They resigned to the fact that the team sucks ass. After a while you realise the team is a lost cause--no need to lose your sanity over it. It's better to laugh off bad stuff you can't change than to go nuts over it.

Good point, but still frustrating as fuck when you are a Juve-fan, looking at your team sucking ass and your players laughing of it. I hope to never see it again, it was painful.
