He didnt actually say they were 'integral for the team'.More like they are hard-working players who dont complain even if they dont play regularly which Conte appreciates.
Which is basically what he meant. Players who give 100% when they play, don't complain and are decent back ups. Players Conte probably hand-picked himself (esp Padoin and Peluso)...I don't know what these players have to do with anything, with regards to Conte's supposed move to another club.

They do. I'm sure every coach at the top of his game wants to coach the best in the world. We would all be deluded to think that Conte wouldn't want to coach a Messi or Ronaldo at some point in his career. If you stop looking at it as only a fan, there are a lot of variables commercial sport can throw up. Money and international success across franchises is one of them.

Conte: "I wouldn't trade Giaccherini, Padoin and Caceres for anyone...they are integral for my team"
If Madrid offered a straight swap for those three with Ozil or Ronaldo would Conte refuse? Of course not. He is not going to make his depth players feel like extras. It's one way of keeping his resources motivated. That's key in man management.

No reason to think he's leaving anytime soon because of his contract, which will likely be extended. He himself wanted this Juve job very much, unlikely he just dumps it quickly for something else. There is a good project at Juve now and he will likely want to be a part of it. He has given no indication that he will be leaving soon. You can speculate all you want but none of us know what Conte is thinking and what he will do. Not every coach thinks like Mourinho and wants to necessarily coach in different leagues and clubs every 2 or 3 years.

Lennon: 'Celtic will complain to ref'
By Football Italia staff

Celtic manager Neil Lennon warned his team will harangue the referee to “do his job properly” if Juventus defend too aggressively on corners.
The Hoops complained bitterly after the 3-0 first leg defeat at Parkhead that the defenders, above all Stephan Lichtsteiner, were too physical in their man-marking at set pieces and wanted several penalties.
“No one minds physical contact,” said Lennon in today’s Press conference ahead of the second leg tomorrow night.
“I don't want to make a big issue of it, but the players will make the referee aware if it goes on again.
“I'm not taking anything away from Juventus, they deserved to win the game. But I did feel there were parts of the game that Juve should have been punished for, particularly at the corners.
“I watched the Napoli v Juve game the other night and Edinson Cavani was being pulled around quite a bit. We're just looking for the referee to do his job properly, that is all.”

Juventus Coach Antonio Conte joked about Lennon’s protests in his own Press conference today.
“At every corner, there is a Celtic player blocking the goalkeeper. That is systematically a foul as the rulebook says so.
“If Lennon is moaning about referees then he’s ready to work in Italy as everyone moans here. Joking aside, Celtic are doing really well and he is a prepared tactician.”

The referee for the second leg in Turin tomorrow night will be Turkish official Firat Aydinus, who will be in charge of only his fourth Champions League fixture.

What a fucking boss conte is time and again. And what a cunt that lennon is, dragging the filthy napoli into this

@Alen or anyone? I noticed last night that we made our three subs in midfield. Is this the first time under Conte's reign, the forwards were not substituted? I don't remember any of our starting pairings ever finishing a game. Is is the first time it's happened? Would say a lot about our forwards. The kind of pressure they normally play with. Can anyone pull up the stats?

I think they were kept on simply because of the match conditions. Better for them to play the full 90 with less pressure and hopefully get a couple of goals.

Of course, the situation had someing to do with it. Im asking this question statistically. If this was the first time our forwards were not subbed?

“For a lot of reasons, especially economic, sides such as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are clearly superior to the other sides in the Champions League, including Juventus,” he stated.
“It is utopia to think that we are at the same level as those kind of outfits,” continued the former midfielder.
“We have to be humble enough to understand that we have just begun on a path, a path that through hard work should lead us to bridge the economic gap that no one at this time can fill.
“The money that Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germaincan spend, we can not. At this moment in time, we are three or four steps below those teams.
“But that does not mean anything, because there is a football field, there are 11 players, 11 of us, there is the referee, the goals, there are two matches, home and away to deal with.
“Should we meet these teams next then we certainly won’t start the tie as beaten.
“We’ll certainly give it a go, knowing where our work so far has brought us. And we certainly want to grow over the next few years.”
