Struggling to think of a top team that has an identifiable playing style who will switch it completely after drawing a few matches. Especially when they draw games with 65% of the ball and 1 shot against. Maybe I just can't think of it right now.
As if it's anything to go by.

Last years Juventus switched formation, don't remember if we were winning or drawing at that moment - either way your point is invalid.

Exactly and De Ceglie sometimes but when we needed stability and protection we used a 4-3-3 yet some experts are saying that the formation has nothing to do with the shaky performance.

50 000 fine to Juve because of their fans spitting at refs. :D

I think it's a combination of factors.

* We seem a lot less hungry or motivated in many, many games. Something I personally had expected before the season began. Last season basically everyone wanted to prove a point, show the world what they were capable of, (almost) every single game. We were underdogs, we're not anymore, quite the opposite. Some/most players may get a bit complacent, we're underestimating the opposition, they "know" we're technically a better team compared to least season which leads to less of an effort being made, etc.
* Cl games mean players are saving themselves. Only human to want to be at your best for the "important" games.
* We're missing Chiellini, Asamoah, Pepe for long periods. And during this period, there have been fitness issues with Vucinic, Marchisio, Vidal, Pirlo,... That's a lot of quality you're missing right there.
* Some moments in time you're lucky, other moments you're unlucky. Right now, we're unlucky. In terms of referees, in hitting the post instead of scoring a goal, in getting punished for every single mistake we make (De Ceglie, Buffon, Vucinic,...). Every single team out there makes mistakes throughout every single game, very few teams get punished for basically all of them all the time. But we seem to be going through such a period right now.

I have to say that I don't think we were in better shape last year though. Let's not forget that we had some less than impressive periods last season as well, despite the unbeaten season: Only 3 wins out of 9 games in Feb-March.
When did we start using the 352 last season?

We first used the 352 I believe Nov 29th last season at napoli. After that, he started implementing it more and more. By Feb-March, that's what we were using.

Ask Buck and Aus. They know.
I actually posted a few reasons why I think (key word here) we're dropping points.

Or should I have posted "4-3-3" followed by a fap smiley to get your attention?

Edit: in response to your question, Hust: I'm not sure. I am sure that we used it during our most succesfull spell of the season though. And also during our least succesfull. And we won some games with the 4-3-3, and we drew some.

Put this all together & tell me again how vital the formation we deploy really is.

Not really trying to make a point, just wondering aloud. It seems you have made it a point, so I guess it is valid.

I read the entire post, the last part which I bolded was what got my attention. The rest I didn't agree with.

But sure, fapping does help.

I don't care if the ban is deserved or not but I am hoping it will be the wakeup call we have been needing to start talking on the pitch. When was the first time we got a penalty last season? We played with humility, we played with aggression and talked without our tactics and skills. This time around we are taking things for granted, nonchalance dominates our games and we only wake up in the dying minutes when it is too late.

Let's see how Conte will use a 3-man defence and fill the left wing now that Bonucci is banned.

marrone will probably drop back? Barzagli-Marrone-Caceres

And the part above that: We are falling back into the trap of falling asleep after going ahead. That's gotta change ASAP. This could be the last game of this tournament if they don't get their shit together. That alone should fire them up. League, however, is a different story. They are getting comfortable. Don't see the same hunger at all. Last season we forced other teams to react. This season we are too predictable.

Barzagli - Marrone - Caceres

De Ceglie/Peluso on the wing.
