Still, one good season & we'll all be singing a different tune. Until they screw up again, that is.
Conte has a point though. Marchisio does remind me of Conte in a way, more than Tacchinardi for example (another name that's been frequently mentioned).
Anyhow, I expect Claudio to, once again, be among the most used players this next season.
You don't think all those players are quality? I didn't say Ziegler is quality I said he MAY be. It can be judged at the end of the season.
All those players are quality, they may not be of the highest standard or good enough to win a world cup, but with some other players to fill out the rest of the team they could contend for Serie A.

That with other quality players to fill up the other spots is not a bad team at all. If you think it is, you are making argument for the sake of argument. It's definitely no 2005-06 team but it's top 4 Serie A 2011-2012.

The invisibility jokeI don't see Marchisio in the same class of quality as them. I define quality as being able to change a game and as you know, Marchisio is quite ghost-like. Krasic won a few games for us this season, Melo was our best player of the season and when in form dominated other team's midfields and Quagliarella scored many important goals until his injury.

Krasic is not a quality player, certainly a good player but not quality yet. Ppl talk about Marchi vanishing, I've seen close to nothing from Krasic in the second half of the season when we needed him the most. If you do not consider Marchi then Krasic is certainly on the same boat (same goes to Melo btw).
Marchisio is doing more good than harm and IMO is getting better every season even though he gets moved around the midfield more than any other player. The spirit, attitude, work rate and leadership he shows justifies the minutes he gets. Other players like Bonucci put their heads down but this guy doesn't. Conte was right in comparing him to himself imo. Anotonio was not the best of players technically and his impact wasn't always evident but he always was held in high regard with his manager's and co-players.
Marchisio is certainly isn't anywhere near our biggest problems, so I don't know why ppl keeping bringing him up.

Yet this 'nothing special' Marchisio will be the first one to get sold between our midfielders if we put them all on market. And I'm not talking about the likes of Villareal either. wonder why he's not so invisable within other clubs.

Anyway, Krasic was brought in to be a savior if am not mistaken. Someone to replace Diego who has vastly underperformed, some here were arguing that Diego (who is a better player technically if that is the only basis of your argument) had a better impact in a worst team. But I don't see people slating Krasic as much.
Funny how you ignored the part where I compared him to Conte and where I mentioned that he is the least of our problems but you guys always bring him up for some odd reason. Conte played close to 300 games with us without being a great passer(that was Deschamps), Visionary ( that as Zidane, Neddy), tackler (that was Davids etc).
You at encompassing the some values that made this club great once, yet these stronger personalities are what we are missing. I don't know what Marchisio you were watching as I always see him talking to the players and leading by example.
Its a make or break season for him to make the jump from a good player to a quality one but I reiterate he is the least of our problems and actually one of our strong points.
