From my italian guru:

Just as I anticipated about Tognozzi's return, for Conte too everything was done (full availability, everyone in the club knew about his return).

The split was born when he was told that he would not be involved in the selection of other corporate roles, because he wanted to have a say in everything and be involved in the selection of managers.

Napoli guaranteed him this 360-degree involvement, combined with a salary increase and the fact that his wife was pushing for him to stay there.

I thought I had to bring it back to you to close the matter.

Having said that, I thanked the source because when everyone was giving Tognozzi to Palermo as DS, he reiterated to me that he would return to Juve.

The times are what they are, but let's try to be strong and hope for our definitive rebirth.

Yeah right, Laurentis is a micro manager. Napoli have had happy times so its all good, next season when things go sour, this is gonna be a great divorce to watch.

Shame we didn't get him

Having said that I hope he fails spectacularly, has another meltdown and becomes damaged goods in the eyes of any top club
He and Napoli could have a meltdown this season with him getting sacked/quitting in the middle of the season and his tenure will still be considered a success.

Everyone knows what Conte is. He is not a long-term coach. He's the greatest turnaround/transitional coach in the world that will eventually crash and burn, while leaving the club in a much better place than it was when he took over.

Sure

But he burns bridges every time he does that. There's maybe a dozen clubs in Europe that can afford him. Once he's done that game of musical chairs he'll end up like Mourinho

Let's hope he burnt our bridge with this cinema. And let's specifically hope we don't put ourselves in a position to need him ever again. He can go f* himself at Milan or Roma next. This kind of drama is completely against everything you'd want from a coach.

Does he? Will he?

Winning in the most important thing. Those "burned bridges" certainly didn't prevent Juventus from trying to bring him back.

As long as he continues to work magic and win, the opportunities will be there.

If Juve are a mess again next season and Conte is available, the club will probably try to bring him back and many fans will be screaming for it to happen.

Winning > hurt feelings

Winning with class matters. Bring back lo stile and keep his antics away from us. He had his chance. Now stick with Tudor and buy him some m*f*ng champions.

Go ask basically anybody at Spurs or Chelsea what they think of him returning there

Sadly we have a history with him so we'll probably always leave the door open to him

Other clubs won't want the toxicity unless they're desperate which is why he's already Mr Fix it

You don't see the ready made CL calibre clubs lining up to sign him despite his great CV.

Exactly. The really big clubs don't want to burn their hands on a fire hazard like him. They have certain standards for their coaches and we should too.

Yep

I'm not even that salty. It is what it is.

Will Conte ever be out of a job? Absolutely not

But he's already basically off of the RM, Barca, Bayern list. He's already Mr Rebuild.

Mourinho was a serial winner too, until he wasn't. No big club will touch him, he burns bridges, throws people under the bus. Now he's in limbo.

He managed both Bari despite his link to Lecce, Juve and Inter (post -farsopoli), Chelsea and Tottenham.
We all know he has no loyalty to any football club, his primary loyalty is to himself and then to winning.

Forget being salty, it is what it is. Remain grateful to him launching our 9 consecutive scudetti run and leave it there.

Can we blame him ? I mean the people we hire or try to hire seem to be bigger frauds than Junktoli
