So Conte is better than Ferguson  Useless stat
it's a stat, so it is not useless, you should have known by now

on an other note:
cl titles:
- di matteo 1
- conte 0

#facts

on a more serious note, this stat obviously depends more on the squad the coach gets than the coach itself. the fact that two city coaches are in the top4 explains a lot. give guardiola a fresh start in serie b with his beloved brescia (they might still be promoted) and he'll struggle for a 40% win rate.

Opta: Antonio Conte has now won 65 of his first 100 Premier League matches. Only Mourinho and Guardiola have more wins in their first 100 matches.

Have to say Conte is producing quite good results at Tott. Doing so getting players like Bent and Kulu being 1st teamers who were not good for Juve. Let's see if this guy can finally be a long term manager for somebody?

Great coach.

Came in halfway through the season, with a transfer window consisting of 2 juve rejects (who improved massively under him), and managed to take this spurs squad to a UCL slot in the toughest league in the world.

And some Allegroids like @Post Ironic will happily deny that we would be in a better place with him here. Proved all his haters wrong.

Conte comes in and takes supposed Juve scrubs with him and ends up making CL in a league 10 times harder than in Italy. If Allegri went there Spurts would have probably finished 9th.
For people claiming he performed some miracle, Conte took over on November 2nd, barely 2.5 months into the season. Not to take anything away from Conte's achievement, but is it really that much harder? The top 2 (3) teams are miles ahead of any team in Italy, but his competition for that 4th spot was a Manu that collected 58 points this season and Arsenal.

We all know Conte is a fantastic league coach, but if I recall correctly he started doing well only after he got eliminated in every single competition and only had the league to focus on. Let's see again how he does next season when he has two games per week.

Celebrating Conte after a season where he got eliminated from Conference League by losing to a Slovenian side, FC Nura (?), and got eliminated from FA cup by Championship side Middlesbrough

Imagine if he actually had to try to get results from more than one competition lol. Great league coach who is the worst cup coach in Europe.

But he did do incredibly well with Spurs, FA Cup and Conference League eliminations dont take away from that, by far the most important comp is EPL there.

I don’t think he did terrible, but it wasn’t some miracle. C’mon. His competition was eternal chokers Arsenal and the worst Man United ever. Those teams are currently no different than the Romas and Lazios and Napolis of Serie A.

As well as the fact top coaches are expected to balance multiple competitions and get results in them. He has still never managed that anywhere. And we’re not talking about losing to good sides this year. He lost to a Slovenian team that was the lowest ranked team in Conference league and lost to a second division side in FA Cup.

Imo if he took over in the summer and lead them to a top4 finish after getting his wishes in summer transfer window itd have been been a good job, target achieved. He managed to do it with a points handicap, no pre season, no usual Conte transfers of exp players. Its silly to suggest he hasnt done incredibly well there, has completely transformed the team he took over, doing much better than both Nuno and Jose.

He did what I expect from Spurs. He was 2 points behind Arsenal when he took over. Top 4 behind the three teams that are actually better. And got embarrassed badly in every cup comp. He did well in the league and was a disaster in cup comps. Nothing out of the ordinary for him. Top league coach, an embarrassing meme coach in cups.

He averaged two points a game in the league with Spurs, that’s hardly special. Even in this crappy season we averaged 2 points per game until the last three matches where the players were playing for nothing (with the CL secured and scudetto out of reach)
