Tardelli: 'English don't like tactics'
By Football Italia staff

Marco Tardelli warns Antonio Conte will have trouble at Chelsea. “The English don’t want to understand tactics.”

The former assistant manager to Giovanni Trapattoni on the Republic of Ireland bench knows all about dealing with players in the Premier League.

“It’ll be a wonderful experience for Conte and he’ll settle in well in London,” Tardelli told Radio Deejay.

“He will have the opportunity to build a team, just as Jose Mourinho did. The only problem is that the English don’t really want to understand tactics.”

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri said something similar earlier this month, noting he agreed a pact with his squad to lay off tactical lessons.

What coach drops the national team before participating in a World Cup? Tells you a lot about his priorities and ambitions
i knew he would because joining the national team now was a fucked up idea.
He had to wait for a decent european team and not jump to the national team ship.

He is young and want to coach everyday while with National team he can do it few days every 2-3months. Totally unfit for how i know him.
Plus Italy right now suck as there are not talents so even if he stays he would waste time

Yep, leaving Juventus because the club can't spend 100 million for 2 players and ending up as Italy NT coach where all he could do is to naturalize players like Eder. :sergio:

...

He succeeds - and then falls out with people

Conte took over as head coach of Juventus with the Italian giants still reeling from the match-fixing scandal that had seen the club stripped of their Scudetto titles.

The former player's impact was immediate as he led the club to a first Serie A title in eight years, finishing his first season unbeaten in the league.

In 2012 he emulated the great Marcelo Lippi when he became the first Juventus coach to lead the Old Lady to a Coppa Italia triumph since 2004.

Conte resigned as manager in 2015 after a clash with the Juventus hierarchy over transfer policy, a feud Italian Federation President Carlo Tavecchio confirmed in an interview.

“Juve and Conte didn't have a good relationship. He has a very strong personality, and things were complicated by an economic dispute between him and the club."

Should be ideal for Chelsea, in that case.

Hair transplant ambassador

Now for the really interesting stuff. What you certainly will not know about Conte is that he recently underwent thorough follicle restoration therapy on his head.

The Italy manager appears as a testimonial story on the website for the Hairloss Improvement Solutions clinic.

According to the testimonial Conte travelled to Vancouver Canada to remedy his battle with baldness after two failed attempts to reverse the process in Italy.

You have to say the results are miraculous.
