What would you guys say is the most important heritage from Contes time in this team? I find it intriguing to discuss what coaches keep from their predecessors while trying to tweak it into their own philosophy.

Thanks to Conte we had the initial success. He won us 3 straight scuddetti. He did his job by bringing us back on top in Serie A. His only fault was that he underestimated the potential in the team. I will only have love and respect for him. :delpiero:

That said, I'm so happy with Allegri right now.

I woke up with no voice today and I sound like Conte. Today is gonna be a bad day. I hope the 10 euro in my pocket can keep me alive for the day. Forza McDonald's.

The motivation to keep going, after 3 straight titles the team still is hungry for more, that is something Conte brought into the team.

I thought conte left because he didn't see the motivation and couldn't motivate the team? Well at least it was one of his many excuses.

:agree:

we needed Conte back then to turn a mediocre team into a winning team. he brought to us the Juventus mentality of the previous generations, made a perfect chemistry among average and world class, younger and older. he guided some of the younger players that were to enter their prime into the WC players they are now. he was the type of coach we needed at that time to create a balanced, strong team "out of nothing". after 3 seasons, it seemed he has done as much as he could so he left. then we needed someone to continue his work, and to further improve upon it. Allegri did a brilliant job at it, even with all the doubt he got. he gave the team new motivation, introduced a new system that showed to be excellent so far, and improved the team even more tactically and mentally. we really hit the jackpot in both cases as both coaches were excellent appointments by our management
