We are deploying a system that relies heavily on wingers, wingers which we don't really have. I don't consider a lot of running and tracking back to help the defense, coupled with an inability to beat your marker or put in a decent cross as qualities of a true winger; if anything, the end product is lacking in terms of both efficiency and effectiveness.

Btw, did anyone read what was written on Football Italia? Apparently Conte said our main objective is not to get back into the CL, but to regain credibility :shifty:
there is no system, just bullshit Al Pacinoesque media statements.

I hope so. Because to me and how things are going in Serie A, if we don't win the league then I at least expect 2nd place.

We could have made a big gap between us and the likes of Milan, Inter, Roma, Lazio had we didn't drop 12points against 4average teams.
Same here bro. 2nd place is an absolute minimum for us IMO. Because even if we do come 3rd we still might get knocked out in CL preliminaries. We need to stop dropping points against these fucking teams. We've done it so many times post Farsopoli, it's absolutely infuriating.

We won't come 2'nd and we won't get knocked out in the CL preliminaries, unless we buy Giuseppe Rossi. If he comes he will be sent off in the CL qualifiers and cost us our ticket to the group stages :p

Sacchi: Conte will be a great

Former Milan and Italy boss Arrigo Sacchi is expecting great things from budding Juventus tactician Antonio Conte.

The latter was appointed by the Old Lady over the summer after learning his trade at Arezzo, Bari, Atalanta and Siena.

Some have started to question Conte’s ability after a few too many draws in Turin of late, but Sacchi has complete faith in the ex-midfielder.

“He’s trying to get his side to express a new kind of football,” Sacchi told Tuttosport on Tuesday. “I see good signs for the future.

“Antonio has everything that is needed to become a great Coach – skill, enthusiasm, passion and fantasy.

“He’s working hard to give Juventus an identity that the side had lost over the last few years,” Sacchi added.

“He’s looking to give the team a style of play which they no longer had. He just needs patience from the club and the fans.”

Sacchi knows Conte well seeing as the former Juve captain was in the tactician’s 1994 Italy World Cup squad.

Conte reveals real Juve objective

Juventus boss Antonio Conte claims qualifying for the Champions League is not the club’s top target this season. “The aim is to win back our credibility.”

Conte cooled the expectation of the fans today on the eve of the Fiorentina game following the disappointing 2-2 draw with Genoa.

Juventus slipped to third in the table as a result and saw doubts emerge regarding their truth strength this term.

“The main objective for the campaign is to win back our credibility, especially in the eyes of our fans,” the Coach said ahead of Tuesday’s clash.

“Our League position is a secondary factor right now. It’s true that qualifying for the Champions League is important, but our target is to get back to being Juventus!

“You can’t forget the fact that this club has finished seventh over the last two seasons so we can’t make promises.

“It would be mad and stupid to create illusions for our fans.”

Juve seemed to be on the Scudetto trail with a win over Milan, but that was their only victory in the last five games given their four draws.

“We didn’t react well to conceding the equaliser against Genoa,” Conte continued. “We thought that we had the game under control.

“It was a difficult blow to recover from and it was tough to pick ourselves up.”

The Old Lady go into the Viola game with doubts over the form and usage of Milos Krasic, Giorgio Chiellini and Alex Del Piero.

“Krasic is having difficulties right now, but we are working on him, psychologically too,” the boss noted.

“As for Chiellini, I can’t doubt him as a player. I’ll always support him and Krasic and I hope the fans do too.

“We are building something here and the fans need to love our squad. They are two fundamental players for us.

“Del Piero? With all due respect to Alex, whether he plays or not is down to a technical decision. I’ll just pick the best team possible.”

The former Siena boss also confirmed that Fabio Quagliarella is in his plans, despite his lack of playing time so far this term.

Meanwhile, Arturo Vidal is in contention to return to the squad after missing the Genoa tie through injury.

This guy is a FUCKING IDIOT !!!!!

The only way you bring back our credibility and get us back to "being Juventus" is to get us in the fucking Champions League, and win us a championship !!!!!!
