Our team really depends alot on Pirlo, we will look pretty clueless once he lose form or gets injured (sooner or later that will happen).

Hate to say it, but this team seems to be heading to last season's scenario. Doing well at the start of the season and blowing everything up in mid-season. In case that happen, i just hope the club won't blame that on Conte.

Personally i see Conte as the only positive thing about this team so far.....

Marchisio - Pirlo - Vidal is strong.
Matri scores goals.
Our wingers are shit.
Mirko is Mirko.

That means IMO, we should go with 3 man mid, Matri up top, Mirko somewhere and another attacker somewhere.

Logical conclusion is 4-3-3.

FM is only helpful when you have someone like Del Neri coaching you

It's similar and if we stick to 4-4-2, it's practically identical.
The difference is we now have 3 midfielders (close to WC) and and a few more options up front.
Unfortunately, Krasic is still nowhere near his best and the other wingers aren't much better.

Interesting that Conte wanted to sell Krasic and bring back Giovinco. We'd look so much better if that'd happened.

We are deploying a system that relies heavily on wingers, wingers which we don't really have. I don't consider a lot of running and tracking back to help the defense, coupled with an inability to beat your marker or put in a decent cross as qualities of a true winger; if anything, the end product is lacking in terms of both efficiency and effectiveness.

Btw, did anyone read what was written on Football Italia? Apparently Conte said our main objective is not to get back into the CL, but to regain credibility

I read this. I have to say I'm little bit disappointed and shocked. Because Conte has always been spot on with his press. Conferences and statements. But this time he got it all wrong.

How would you regain credibility if you don't make it at least back to the top 3?

I hope so. Because to me and how things are going in Serie A, if we don't win the league then I at least expect 2nd place.

We could have made a big gap between us and the likes of Milan, Inter, Roma, Lazio had we didn't drop 12points against 4average teams.
