Contes ambitions and any preexisting arrangements taken into consideration, this left the club in a very tight spot. Next season is basically ruined and while we are not quite set back to post calciopoli state of affairs, it set back the club tremendously.

A true Juventus legend would have swallowed it, done his for the club for the first six months, offering some timetoworkon a replacement and then left. There is this idea that Juventus is bigger than the players playing for it and the people managing it and i fulle subscribe to it, i I hoped Conte would too. He had the chance to bail earlier in the season and he should have seized it were he not prepared for hiccups. A management as finsncislly responsible as the current one would not have agreed on any circumstances earlier this summer when they were persuading him, were they not 100 percent sure they could deliver. That might be a failure on their part to do the job, but it certainly does not imply that they tried tricking him into staying, as some members sadly seem to be implying

Exactly.

Conte let all the fans down. Its a mix of stubbornness and cowardliness IMO.

If he was thinking about this for a while, he should have left before. How could someone as important to our project like Conte, just walk out and leave us for dead?

It's a shame. His heart wasn't in it, so we shouldn't dwell on him either. Time to move on.

what are you talking about? it wasn't a long time coming. if he wanted to leave 2 months ago he would've left, he stayed because he had hope that the club would match his ambition and not do fucked up things. clearly agnelli and marotta fucked up just now and he had to leave because he couldn't work with them anymore, because of numerous disagreements, an obvious one is imminent sale of vidal. it's quite childish to put the blame on Conte really, without him we still wouldn't have the won the scudetto once in the past 3 seasons. but no he is wrong of course.

Didn't we just start our pre-season? What about the signings we been working on?

All works are undone. I hope our board doesn't panic like we do and get our hands on whoever we could.

But to be honest, there isn't many options out there.
All signings halted, or maybe cancelled already.
I think we will not do a move until we sort the coach issue. Maybe AA and beppe are so eager to put Allegri on the bench because they wanna finalize the moratta deal at the evry least...and then start the strategy with allegri.

Im trying to be optimistic btw....I prefer conte a million times rather than being is this shitty scene with allegri ffs....fuking allegri

Trying to find some positives.

Maybe we'll actually play real football in Europe now that he's gone?
lol, who knows. maybe we will go for it against kopenhagens at last.

In the end this day was bound to come. Conte has been showing signs of this for awhile. He's no sir Alex he was never gonna stay for a long time.
Its a shame really. He should have been sacked by the end of the season if that prevented us being in this pile of turd

It is a shame that's why I said his "love" that he professed for this team and fans was BS because if it was as strong as he said he would have waited till his contract was up

how could he have known before that the sporting directors won't give him what he wanted. it's only now that Sanchez is in Arsenal, Berardi staying at Sassuolo and Iturbe nearing Roma (happened today) that he knows he isn't going to get the players for his plans to improve this team. the board had specifically made different preferences when they planned to spend the same money on 2 young unknown players instead of 1 star per transfer season like the big clubs. Conte staying was conditional on what players they board can get him, and he left halfway through the transfer period before any big transfers were made and before pre-season. the transfer budget is still available for the incoming coach and one and half months till start of season.

Conte knew very well our financial limitations and the insanity of the transfer market. If he wouldn't stay with us through thick and thin, he should have left in May, not leave us for dead in the middle of preseason.

Buffon just said that he doesnt think this is due to transfers. He said it may be internal conflicts between Conte and directors.
Well yeh....i think you dont resign from a project of this magnitude just because we didnt sign iturbe.

IM pretty sure something was going on since that Conte parade at the end of the scudetto.

I said it that time and ill say it again,.... he was practically taking is hostages against the media....and AA and the rest looked like fools, ridiculed, like slaves trying to apeace the mad overlord. IM pretty sure that things got ugly after that until now.

I any other team, if a coach goes to the media spilling that kind of internal conflicts... its pretty sure you will get the axe for being a fool. But he has provileges here..and thats obvs understandable..... it just seems that the damage was done anwyays-
