his subs were garbage, like I said out of date Italian mentality. An attacker for an attacker when we're 1-0 down, and worse still he takes of Tevez and puts on Osvaldo.

Even if we do win the EL Conte clearly is not the man take us forward, if we want to challenge in the CL Conte needs to go
what do you mean 1-0 down ? its a 2 leg game...el semi finals away to benfica....we arent playing a serie c side .

Nothing to criticize or praise for this match.

Boneretard's classic retard moment cost us a goal other than that i think benfica did well.
Dude how long are we really going to hold that excuse? Surely it's up to the manager to stamp that behaviour out

Are you comparing Chelsea with Juve? Look where they are in Europe.
I thought the point as pretty clear, I showing how an away goal can have a big impact.

We are not as good as Chelsea but are not playing as difficult a team as PSG and have less of a margin to chase. The goal can be crucial.

Yes because me posting positive things on Conte would have changed everything right? Whatever fanboy, fact is even if observable evidence is put in front of you, you will never criticize him
I will criticize him when he deserves it. Was his Osvaldo sub was shortsighted and poor? Certainly. But tactically, we played a great match, and controlled proceedings, and had far more chances. A defensive lapse by Bonucci, and slow reactions by Buffon (an identical save was made by Artur on Pogba), gave them a goal in the second minute, and a wonder strike gave them a second. We had more than enough chances that we should have drawn or won this match. We didn't. That's how football goes sometimes.

Were Conte's tactics particularly poor tonight? Not in the slightest.

How ironic of you to suggest that others ignore observable evidence. You ignore every fact presented in Conte's favour.

As I said, go support another side.

If it wasn't for Bonucci's defensive limitations and Chiellini's attacking limitations, in addition to numerous unlucky wasted chances, everybody would've been complimenting Conte on a great game. This is the truth.

We absolutely dominated the game on their 'scary' home turf and they scored from their only two chances. If this is the strongest Benfica with the push of their home fans, then we're going to kill them at JS, no doubt.
Exactly. We dominated the game tonight. Did we struggle to cope with Benfica's pace tonight as some were suggesting before the match? I didn't see them troubling us, but in fact they were the ones that opted to sit back and soak the pressure. It's a good result, scored an important away goal and we have good chances to qualify.

Benfica looked lost in the second half mate, the opportunity was there.
Mate that 1-0 could have become 2-0 we made it 1-1 then sadly a great shot made it 2-1.
Be realistic its a el semi final away to benfica we dominated in possession and had more shots on target than the home team.....they had 2 shots and 2 goals. They must be thinking lucky they get those we on the other hand were unfortunate to concede them .

Umm...That doesn't matter. You can bet your ass Bonucci will $#@! up
True. Bonucci can fuck up an entire team's effort. let's hope he doesn't. Point is, we're much better than Benfica and should kill them at JS if we take it like we always do against big clubs at home.

Benfica were there for the taking mate, we just had terrible tactics. It's not the fact that we lost it was the manor in which.
we need better forwards. if you think Llorente is the one go check Bilbao's Liga performances with him there. 8-9 years he was there the best they did was 5th. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Athletic_Bilbao_seasons the year he's gone they are 4th now and likely qualify for CL next season. Conte said several times that he believes that Llorente can be even better than his Bilbao days, that's more like hoping than believing because that's what was needed and Llorente had a poor start at Juve and definitely not among the best strikers. tell me if you will be surprised if he's not going to the world cup.

Tevez hasn't done much either, in SerieA he has a pretty poor record against big clubs, goal against Milan, penalty against Fiorentina and we all know about Europe. and the others strikers we have are clearly worse.
and then there is also Bonucci. that's definitely Conte's mistake because Conte keeps playing him.
