Juventus haven't won three consecutive titles for 80 years, not under Trap, not under Lippi, so yes that IS an achievement.
Also folk are deliberately ignoring that fact that although the Gala result was hurtful they DO have an extremely experienced team and played the conditions better.

We are not out of Europe by a long way...if we do them by all means hitch away
Did I say otherwise? However, our approach and attitude to European games has been pathetic at best. I'm still pissed at our CL exit, but now that we are in the EL, we should try and honor it (seeing as we are 14 points ahead in our quest to win that 3'rd consecutive title, with 10 games left to play).

Actually the starting team seemed ideal to me. It was very important that Asamoah played. First half was awesome.

2nd half the team worn out, just like the last games. And the subs weren't good.

Thing is, he definitely should rotate the team at least a little bit in Serie A. He basically almost never done that in the past 3 years.

His squad is limited and clearly he doesn't trust Padoin and Peluso. But once again... he is the responsible for these guys wearing Juve's kit.

So I say Conte should do a better job trimming the squad and rotating. And mainly varying the tactics more.
Juventus XI (3-5-2): Buffon; Caceres, Ogbonna, Chiellini; Isla, Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah; Osvaldo, Giovinco

None of these are starters. I can understand the use of Osvaldo and Giovinco upfront as Tevez was out injured, and Osvaldo has been very effective for us in the EL so far.

Those other players shouldn't have started this game IMO. We should have used our best playersin this game, pushed from beginning to the end of the game for a better score than 1-0, instead of starting like a house of fire and then retreating for 75 mins of the game and inevitably conceding like we did. Unacceptable squad selection AND tactics from our coach that definitely puts our chances of advancing from Europe in doubt.

That starting XI I posted should have been used against Genoa. But of course, Conte uses the full team to hold on to out slender lead in Serie A.

The interpretation of his actions is another issue entirely, but he is not contradicting himself verbally.

Lol.
No contradictions, he always said that championship was the priority, directly or undirectly, he has always admitted that he disregards the cups and here he does it once again:

Whats sad, is that at this moment the title is practically secured and we could afford to push for the EL, which would give great benefits for us (financial and coefficent improvement)
even if we would fail to win it...

The way I look at is this-

Has he taken us forward as a club? Yes

Has he given us back our sense of pride? Yes

Has he made us a team to be feared again? Yes

Has he brought about improvement in our play year on year? Yes

Has he room to improve? Yes

Has he brought is European success? Not yet

Has he a squad capable of dominating in Europe? Not yet

The Conte journey has taken us incredibly far in 3 short years, let's see where he can take us in the next 3

No one is expecting domination in Europe by now. That's what you fail to understand.

Well going by the last few pages everyone seems to be bitching about not wiping the floor with Fiorentina and maybe not winning the EL

fucking this!!!... people should remember the del neri and zaccheroni years aren't that far away... And with limited money (Napoli and Milan hav had way more money too spend than we did.. and look where they are) he got us 2 back to back scudetti with a third coming up..

If you would tell me this in the year 2010, where we went from a coach that won 50% of its matches to one that won only 38.1% of its matches to one that won 40% of its matches, that a coach would arrive, win 66.18% of its matches... lose less than 10% of its matches and would win us 3 scudetti in a row.. i would fap my penis off...

Not because we didn't wipe the floor with Fiorentina. Hell, we didn't even wipe it with them in Serie A, but due to our pathetic attitude towards the EL, we didn't even field our best starting line up. Cause of that is we're most probably out of it, but we'll see.
