The first step in becoming a true powerhouse is becoming a preferred destination for the top talent in your domestic league. For example, players like Verratti and Berardi, even Jovetic, should aspire to join Juventus and only Juventus in Italy. This way you can secure a relatively cheap pipeline for your perennial dominance. I think we're almost there, at a level like Bayern domestically where they secure guys like Dante, Mandzukic, Pizarro from the smaller teams.

Next is obviously top foreign players but that seems quite unreachable because of finances. But already we are seeing a change in perception when Higuain and RVP, last year, seem ok with coming here.

But to me, the most important thing and the thing we can control the easiest is dominating Serie A. I want to win it every year and just devour all the young talent in this league who want only Juventus. Then we can make up for our lack of truly top finances.
I agree very much with this idea. But its important we have role models in each rank. For this reason, having Higuain up front is so important.

Buffon, Chiellini, Vidal, Higuain. Icons for each rank. We definatly need to do this

I honestly think Conte is tired of making lemonade out of lemons. He has done an amazing job with players that honestly had no business in performing this highly.

Andrea Agnelli: "We have planned for 2013/14". Conte: "to continue to build."

If by some mirracle Conte leaves now, it will mean that we can say goodbye to being a top European team and anything more than a Scudetto challenging team. It will mean that untill our current management is in charge we only have a team filled with Padoins and Giaccerinis and Matris and unlike these last two years, there will not be a coach as competent as Conte in bringing out the best of this extremely mediocare players.

We wouldn't even be a scudetto challenging team if left now. The foundations are not that strong yet. If he was to go now, it would all collapse.

But he's staying :weee:
