That would make absolutely no sense. They all work together, Conte tells them which players he wants, Marotta and Paratici work to secure those. If the demands can't be met, they talk with Conte again and expand the short list. Sources from within the club confirm this.
It's pretty obvious that Conte has big influence within the club. Just look at him cancelling pre-season in US, and despite the club getting $$$ invitation from the sheiks to train in Dubai during the winter, stayed in Italy to make sure the players are rested. All this within one year. I would say that he has influence on the transfers as well.
It's pretty obvious Bendtner and Anelka were forced on him. Elia too and probably Borriello also.

I would agree that some transfers are out of Conte's hands. Still think he is part of the decision for the main transfers.

Just look at the Marotta transfers in Delneri's first season, and compare them to Conte's first season.

I am not saying he does not have an influence but if Conte wants Suarez for example he can already forget about him.

"My priority is to stay at Juventus for the remainder of my career, but I am open to trying a new experience abroad in the future"

panic!
:sergio:

“I want to remain at Juventus for life. However, for now, I’m just thinking about this season and helping the club get back on to the stage that it deserves. I’m more worried about winning during the present rather than thinking about the future.”
