This would be a solid purchase. I think we're going to see him moved around some, as well. It's good to see that we're making an effort to maintain such a solid back line, that foundation has been crucial to our recent success. Sørensen is only 21, folks. I don't want to have to start a CL semi-final against a European giant with a 21 year old lined up at the back, or bring one on as an injury replacement mid game, either. Beyond that, he's got an opportunity to play with continuity, we should leave him be to continue his development, give him 2-3 more years at smaller clubs to develop. Cáceres has never fully convinced at CB for Juve, especially in that LCB role. This is a solid move, because with the players we have now - some of whom are getting older, some of whom may be moving on eventually - we have a limited window of opportunity; we are entering a total win now mode... and Juventus has gotta have that defensive stability.
Everybody also knows how much our club's management/ownership loves that we own the backbone of the national team, so this should be no surprise. This mercato has been outstanding so far, just about something for everyone. Unreal we're getting these guys into camp on time, too, that's so un-Beppe like. That man has really upped his game
