he;s not going to be a bench player forever. barzagli is not going to keep this level up .

also explain how you are againt this but want us to sign another top line forward? the same problem is goint to be him competeing with tevez and lloente. which means one of those 3 fowards will sit on bench.

As some said, what would happen if one of those defenders is suspended or injured, would you not prefer a good alternative? Only thing I agree with you is that, for maybe 1 or 2 years, until Barzagli show signs of regression, his growth as a player will stagnate. He surely won't play more than a handful number of games.

I like Caceres, but I fear he's our only 'to go' guy. I don't know how good Ogbonna is, but if he's worth the hype, we'd have a really good alternative. More than that, we'd also have a good prospect in our hands.

Im in the same position, never seen enough of Ogbonna to judge him. I am fickled with this defender as he doesnt get into the NT and being displaced by Astori is something to be concern.

25 years old Ogbonna is the young prodigy he wont get better if he will sit at the bench in Juve, he already lost his spot in National Team and he wont be called up from our bench definitely, so we are buying pig in a poke for 14 millions, now we should sit and wait will he become great defender at the age of 29 or not
