Football_Hipsta_Melo: judges players on a single match
I've seen him several times. Still think he is overrated.

Nesta was at fault for 3 Roma goals in that game, so Nesta sucks?

My opinion isn't solely based on one match. I can't link to every goal Torino has conceded because of Ogbonna, but my point is that people overrated him.

Coming with the knee-jerk defensive reactions, except while that was a freakish game for Nesta, Ogbonna's one more of highlights his season in a nutshell, even if also a freakishly bad game ( I mean, who causes 2 pks, another goal and gets sent off in a single game, very wtf), its also not a solitary bad game in a top season (ala Nesta), has had weak performances since he got back basically. Had decent game vs us, as main positive, but other few games one saw, or reviews/ratings of other games, he has had blunder prone season it seems.

He's been poor since his injury, that's true. He was solid before his injury though.

Hopefully this won't be Isla 2.0

He's been making mistakes (like Bonucci was before this season) since he came back from injury a few months ago.
Then it's only his concentration. If so, then I expect this to change as motivation grows when a player moves to a big club. Conte is made for this shit.

Agreed, but the question is if we will see post or pre injury Ogbonna, post injury version has NOT been a good defender.
I wouldn't have any particular concerns about that so long as he gets a full pre-season under his belt.

Would have expected ups and downs in his first season in Serie A even without the injury knocking him out of his stride.

When, where, in Serie B for the past 4 seasons before 12-13? I only paid attention to him during Italy friendlies before Euro 2012, I thought even Astori and Ranoccia are better. I don't think he's done much this season to prove otherwise.
