We've already seen what happens if Chiellini is injured though.

Don't get me wrong I want Higuain or Jojo too. A forward should be our priority but I prefer us to buy Ogbonna and move Peluso to the wing than getting Lulic for example as our wingback solution.

Buying Ogbonna makes sense because Chiellini is injured a lot and Barzagli isn't getting any younger. Cash + youngsters is a very good deal for us.

Agreed. For what's mentioned, this Ogbonna deal is a very good steal.

I really like Ogbonna. And as already pointed out, Barzagli isn't getting any younger. But the fact that Torino are willing to sell him to us only amazes me. Stealing Ogbonna from Torino and Jovetic from Fiorentina. Beppe, you fkn troll!!!!!

Would be a very good move for Juve to get Ogbonna, and all the better if they can do it by trading players rather than giving up too much cash.

Juve really need one very good back-up centre-half who is capable of playing in Bonucci's role, because it's very apparent that Marrone isn't up to it.
Agreed, but the question is if we will see post or pre injury Ogbonna, post injury version has NOT been a good defender.

Good signing by us if true. The guy is a very good defender.

Having Chiellini, Bonucci, Barzagli and Ogbonna as CBs makes our defense the best in Italy easily.

I can't wonder enough how do you people know the guy this well, so you can call him a very good defender.
The league games I seen, which is mainly after coming back from long injury since the beginning of the season, he was performing like Astori, has in fact competing with him for who commits most errors/causes most pks etc. Clumsy and mediocre has been my first association with him since then, not "very good".

I've read about this too. That he was seriously mistake prone lately. I think that people discussed it in that forum you moderate. And there is no doubt that he's talented and probably very good if he's liked by Prandelli (and Conte, if our interest is real). But defenders aren't really people that make the highlights so in order to conclude that someone is a very good defender, you need to watch him more regularly and I seriously doubt that those who call him "very good" watched him more than once or twice :p
