Who knows though. Perhaps Carerra can't wait to go back to his previous role. Maybe he doesnt enjoy press conferences, pressures of coaching the team on big match days as much.
I think a smart move would be confirming Carrera on the bench for the last time against Napoli. That would give the players an extra motivation to do well in Carrera's last match in charge.
Agreed, it's Conte's work. But props to Carrera and Alessio for how they've handled themselves on the sidelines so far. Shouting instructions, executing Conte's tactics etc. Carrera and Alessio are awesome.
