Paranoid Android are great too if you've the option, especially for tablets with that Paranoid DPI settings. Used to run it back when i had a Nexus 7.

4.4.2 on Xoom there are only CM11 and Omni. As for Paranoid Android, I really can't stand it, I had a very bad experience with them on an old HTC.

They have the highest number of monthly active users among it's peers and still growing (as big as Twitter). The valuation is bonkers, but that's how tech firms are valued these days. Facebook will probably go on to ruin it, because the best part of Whatsapp is the nominal fee/no ads model.

I don't think Whatsapp will become a paid service, most likely it will be stuffed with ads.

It won't become paid, they bought them for their users. Whatsapp is the most active messenger service today. By far. Along the line they'll integrate their messenger and whatsapp into one app and make it mandatory to use FB login.

I don't think they will either, many thought like that when they bought Instagram but they kept it as it is.

The expectations were high but looks like they disappointed.

Sony on the other hand looks like finally managed to have a great display and fix their camera, for me Xperia z2 is the best smart phone out there.

Finally got the KitKat update for my note 3. Runs quicker then former OS, but beyond that ive yet to experience any real improvements

It seems that LG are providing the hardware for yet another Nexus
