No never swore that lol I was just pissed at my phone at the time but went to the iPhone 5 and it was same old same old so I went to sgs3 and loved it had that till a month ago sold it for 400 bought the Optimus G for 99 loved it but it was stuck on ICS and the Dev community sucked so I sold that for 300 and bought my nexus 4. I have come to understand that if you go android only Samsung and Nexus devices are worth it
You went on and on about defrag issues, you were even so much against Android that you were trying to convince people not to use it.

You mean fragmentation. Yes that still annoys that's why I came to my realization that only Samsung or nexus is worth it. As you will be on the forefront of software /hardware. Although the Motorola X phone coming will fall into this category as well

No, you can't unless you flash another ROM.

If you want it only for typing (messaging, whatsapp etc.), then Swype/SwiftKey might be the way to go. They are pretty good too. You can't change the language of the whole phone without rooting.

I don't know really. Apart from the fact that you can customize by applying different CM10 themes, what other advantages does a rooted GNex with CM10 offer? I know, I am a noob. Will I receive the latest android updates?
CM10 is the latest Android update. Anything you'll get from your carrier/manufacturer will be miles behind what you get with CM.

CM offers a whole bunch of customisation and performance options that aren't in stock. Keep it!

Exactly. It's not just about themes. There are a good number of customization options under Settings that's unavailable in the stock Rom. You can overclock your CPU, block ads throughout the phone and back applications as well as their data. My favourite is editing the navigation buttons at the bottom. I hate that the back button is on the left, so I moved it to the right. This is impossible with the stock phone.

Stick with CM. It's better than stock.

Ok, I guess you convinced me. I will stick with CM for a while. I have to admit though, the phone responds faster. Can you recommend me a sick theme? Thank you.

I don't use themes. I'm in love with the stock Holo theme that Google developed. But you just need to search the Play Store for 'CM themes' and you'll find loads. They not all free though.

And how would I upgrade CM10 if there is a new stable version available? Would a get a message thay there are upgrades or I will have to do it manually?

IIRC, CM does have push updates. But you just need to flash the new zip file through the recovery, and it'll update your current ROM without wiping existing data. Although sometimes, when the changes between the updates are big, the ROM makers will suggest you perform a clean install. So make sure you read their instructions carefully. It's always good to backup your phone through the recovery before flashing any new ROM/update.
