I do not care if Pirlo uses talented youngsters. I applaud it. He does not use talented youngsters though, as we do not have those. Juve Primavera is a joke.
Indeed. Portanova a talented youngster? The guy before said 'if Portanova burried a chance no one would complain'. Wrong. People complained because against relegation battlers we never had control of the game and our defense was exposed on almost every counter.

these players have played in games so far. yesterday we fielded 7 of those 8 players while missing top juve scorers and MVP of serie a, and GOAT of all time.

and some of you expected a crushing win. you guys are not realistic at all. at all.

You can’t know if a young player is a joke or talented until you try them and that’s what Pirlo‘s doing. He’s working with what he has as he didn’t have a preseason to do it then, so might as well give them a chance when your key players are absent.

It’s way too early to judge Pirlo and the team, let’s wait until our starting lineup is complete (not related to your post).

Arthur, Chiesa and Bentacur are established players. And Chiesa did well for most parts.

Regardless, we should always expect crushing win against opponents like yesterday. Having several younger players on the pitch aint excuse.

Its defenitely too soon to make absolute takes. But Lion you might need to see the other games Crotone has played so far. They are one of the worst teams to played in Serie A past years. Us struggling with new rookie coach, system, young players is acceptable to a point.

But its defenitely not acceptable to be tactically so exposed against this bad of a team, they were exploiting the zones so easy because we were so disorganised. I literally saw within 1-2 minutes Demiral be RB, CB, LB and Bonucci DM, wth was going on on the pitch? Players were just reacting, no one seemed to know where they were supposed to be. Its not too shocking this disorganisation is in part leading to the red cards.

It was the perfect recipe for losing pts. But it does not take a Ronaldo and a Dybala to get 3 pts against a very weak Crotone.

Its valid to say no pre season, and little training so far for the struggles. But its still reasonable to point out the worrying signs of in both Roma and Crotone games, that I see so many things we need to work on that I lose count. Its alarming at times how disorganised and naive the shape of the team is.

You make a very good point on the team organization on the field. I saw the same and it’s very frustrating to see players out of position. Not only that, it also exposed our back line on multiple occasions. Crotone managed to have a few really good counters when exploiting the fact that our players were lost out of position. I don’t know if that’s an issue Pirlo is working on, or it’s simply part of his tactics but the players are still adjusting. Whatever it is, I’m hopeful that Pirlo is smart and not stubborn to see it, he should fix these defects sooner rather than later.

man you guys are such losers.

you always complain about not giving youngsters chances and going for experienced safe has been players.

or you talk about coaches not taking risks and sticking with stale tactics.

now that you see what happenes when both change immediately you turn negative and want to go back to the good ol' stale tactics and stale old safe players. because you can't handle change and the need for transition and youngsters to mature and learn.

you have all proved your hypocrisy. so next time you ask "WHY doesnt juve sign youngsters? we lost this player for 20m only omg street management" this is the answer. you guys just want to complain. you don't actually care about anything.

You have to be competent to play it. There have been so many pretenders try it and fall flat in their face.
indeed.

but we got a coach who used to do no look passes like it was nothing. of course he's going to be fancy shmancy. thats the main difference between him and zidane. zidane had time to study ancelotti and learn from him to calm the crazy in him. pirlo doesnt even have luxury of a pre season.

So now the honeymoon is over, can we safely say that his 3-4-1-2 sucks?

What's the point in even playing 3 defenders occupying the central place when you're playing a side fighting relegation? Also we don't have a 10 to connect the double pivot with the attack. Just stop this nonsense and go back to the 4-3-3
This
And maybe try using players in their actual positions for a change.
